PIT STOPGender: Stallion
Species: Earth Pony
Mane: Fluffy and relatively short black mane
Tail: A short poof of black hair
Eyes: Deep blue and big
Body: He is mostly green, with a couple of dark green freckles on his eyes and downward turned ears.
Cutie Mark: A grey shovel with a brown handle, digging into a small pile of brown dirt.
Age: Colt (Pre-teen)
Personality:
Pit Stop is a friendly pony, but at the same time is extremely shy. He loves to be praised, but when this happens he tries to downplay the praise and be humble. He likes to make friends with other colts and fillies around his age, but at the same time he is too nervous to approach them and ask them if they would like to play or hang out together. He is much better with approaching younger foals. He is a bit nervous to travel far, and doesn't want to stray too far from his family for the time being.
He's rather carefree, but is the sort of colt that would try to help others with their work even if he is not that great at it. Relaxing is fun, but his family wishes he'd be a little more outgoing and not as shy.
Likes: Digging traps, searching for buried treasure, eating sweets
Dislikes: People without a sense of humor, bullies
History:
Pit Stop was born to a pair of Earth ponies in Ponyville, and is the older of two brothers. His childhood was fairly ordinary, growing up with his brother and attending school with him. Even from the beginning, he had a "searching for buried treasure" complex - he would always after school, without fail, try to find buried treasure in a public area. Most of the time he didn't, instead finding some rocks and buttons and such. One time, however, he found a buried time capsule that two ponies had buried as foals. Intrigued by it, he used what clues he had to track down the older ponies, who were now married to each other and were very grateful to Pit. This determination as well as his love of digging allowed his cutie mark to come in somewhat earlier than average.
Example RP segment:
1. A foal has lost its mother and is sobbing inconsolably in the street . Given your OC’s personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.Pit Stop glanced around, but anyone else around didn't seem to be paying attention. So he approached the little foal. "H-Hi there. Where's your mom?"
"I-I don't know! She was th-there, and I looked at s-something, and th-then I couldn't find her!" the foal sobbed.
"What does your mom look like?" Pit Stop listened carefully as the foal described what her mother looked like. He smiled at her.
"Here... come on. I'll help you find her, okay?" Pit Stop said. He was nervous about approaching an older pony, but she needed help.
She sniffled and walked with him. So Pit Stop walked with the foal, looking around for a pony that fit the description. After a little bit of time, he spotted a pony that matched the mother's description, and pointed at her. But before he could ask, the older pony approached the two. Pit Stop took a step back as the foal ran up to her and nuzzled her, and slipped away into the crowd. He didn't need the thanks.
