Personality: Gordy is a headstrong pony who doesn't accept defeat unless it's for his own good. This often gets him into trouble. He has a soft spot for helpless ponies and often goes out of his way to help them out if he can. He's not above using force to make that happen either. This combined with being angered easily usually means he's got a new bruise or two to answer for.
Likes: Singing, Rock Music, Dubstep, Performing
Dislikes: Greed, seeing helpless/homeless ponies not being helped, Rap
History: Gordy grew up in Manehattan with his mom and dad. His family never had much money, but they had enough to make it. when he entered school, he made few friends, but didn't make many enemies either. but the thing was, he had a hard time finding his talent. His best friend had found her talent for flying, and the rest of his friends had discovered theirs. with the talent show coming up, he had hoped this would be his chance. deciding to sing a short song, his hopes were dwindling as he practiced.
Show time came, and he got on stage. he opened his mouth and began singing. at first he was nervous, but as the song continued, he started getting into it. the more he got into it, the better he felt. When the class started cheering, it was decided. he wanted more of this. and then it happened. right as the song was ending, it appeared.
as time went on he spent most of his time covering other pony's songs. but when he decided to start writing his own, he discovered Manehattan had too much noise to think right. he decided to move to Ponyville soon after.
Example RP segment: (5. A colt is bullying a filly in the Manehattan street. When your OC looks to him, he turns to your OC and snaps, "What're you looking at?" Given your OC’s personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.)
Gordy was walking home singing a song to himself, when he hears a noise coming from a nearby alley. curious, he looks into the alley. as he enters the alley, he hears a young colt picking on a young filly.
"why don't you watch where you're going Blank-Flank!" The colt yells at the young filly laying on the ground. it doesn't take long for Gordy to be noticed.
"What're you looking at?!" The Colt yells at him.
Gordy took a second to look at the situation at hand. an older colt bullying a younger filly. there were fewer things that made him this mad.
"I'm looking at a cowardly colt picking on an innocent filly!" He yelled. Gordy looked around as if pretending to look for somepony.
"And I see you're the only colt around. how unfortunate." The colt shifted as if he was uneasy. the colt opened his mouth to speak, but never said anything.
"Now why don't you go home and rethink your actions before I make you." Gordy said, staring into the colt's eyes.
The colt once again opened his mouth to speak and looked as if he was going to fight, but he turned and ran home. The colt gone, Gordy walks over to the filly and offers his hoof to her.
"Were you really going to beat him up?" she asked him.
"No. He's a bully. they talk big talk but they rarely back it up. You never use physical force when intimidation will do the job just as well." Gordy said, smiling to the Filly.
"You should get home. I'm sure your parents will want to know what happened here." "Thank you." The filly said running home.
after making sure both sides are gone, Gordy had a warm feeling inside. He was happy to help that little filly even if it had escalated. turning back to the street, Gordy goes back to singing his song.
