Personality: Very opinionated and sure of herself. She is nice, but thinks that she is perhaps best at everything when it comes to her one true love: strawberry gardening. She is also a bit sarcastic.
Likes: Strawberries, games, reading, singing
Dislikes: Large groups of ponies, poor harvest of strawberries, boring books, being compared to her sisters
History:

She was born to a pair of simple strawberry farmers, one in a set of triplets. Each had her own goal in life, as Strawberry was the middle of the three and did her best to please her parents. She grew to learn to farm in her own way, making the strawberries on her farm grow plum each year. Her other two sisters left home to pursue their dreams when their parents died, leaving Strawberry content to maintain the farm that her parents had left behind.

Her sisters joke and call her a "country bumpkin", as the are rather prissy and self absorbed in their acting and singing careers in the city of Las Pegasus. Strawberry was always content with the country life, making her appreciate the simple things like homemade strawberry short cake and so on. When her sisters drop into visit, she makes it a point to keep the visit as short as possible. She doesn't detest them, she just prefers them not to be around too long as they are "suffocating".

She has very few friends because of her sarcastic nature, but the few she does have she is very loyal to. She sometimes misses her parents at night, but she learns that they were strong, and so she must be strong too.

2. A secret admirer confesses his/her love to your OC. Given your OC’s personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.

Berry, as she was preferred to be called, looked at the note and blushed slightly. A secret admirer of hers? Before her stood a handsome stallion and looked shyly at his hooves. Berry had no real way of expressing just how embarrassing this was. "See, the thing is," she began, her accent carrying a bit of a southern lilt. "I do not know you very well. If anything, you just randomly showed up. I appreciate the offer, but I have more important things in my life right now...."

The stallion seemed to back away slowly, forcing himself to turn away from her to hide his tears. Berry felt bad for him, in fact, she felt very bad. But she wasn't going to lie at all. She just would rather tell the blunt truth than to lead him on. She dropped the paper in the garbage and sighed, applying strawberry jam to a piece of rye bread and taking a bite. "Stallions these days."
