Meteor BurstGender: Female
Species: Pegasus
Mane: Cropped short, swept back, and red shot through with darker shades.
Tail: Also kept very short, with the same mix of colours as her mane.
Eyes: A bright gold colour
Body: A dusky French lilac colour, with darker 'sock' markings, 'star', ear tips and feather tips. Her hooves are a dark grey and her fetlocks long and untrimmed. She is quite tall, lean, fit, and well muscled with strong legs.
Cutie Mark: Three blazing comets
Age (Baby,adult): Adult
Personality: Meteor is a bright, cheerful pony. She is always happy to lend a helping hoof if somepony needs it, and is generally very friendly. Her moods do tend to vary a little dramatically-- some days she wants to run and fly and go fast and play games, others she just wants to take a bath, curl up with a blanket, and read a good book. Some days she wants to meet new people, others she cringes at the thought of interacting with strangers. But regardless of her mood, she always tries to be as polite and chirpy as possible.
Meteor is very protective of those she cares for, and will put herself between them and danger without hesitation. This protective streak also causes her to worry more for others than for herself, and she can sometimes work herself into a panic over the troubles of others.
While she doesn't actively seek competition, Meteor can be very competitive if she finds herself in one. She tries to be a good sport if she loses, but her disappointment is often obvious.
She likes to make others happy, and Meteor often cracks jokes and provides gifts and compliments to make others smile. She hates to see someone sad, and does everything she can to rectify such situations.
She can take a nap almost anywhere-- if you can't find her, she might be sleeping under tables, on ceiling beams, or on hallway floors.
Likes: Flying fast, helping ponies, sweets, spending time with friends, books, bubble baths and soft beds.
Dislikes: Bullies, bugs, cheese, math, unnecessary noise.
History: Meteor grew up in Cloudsdale with her mother Bubblegum Pop, her father Egret Plume, and her siblings, Pennet Plume and Starling Plume. While Pennet and Starling both took after their mother in terms of grace and soft-spokenness, Meteor was more like her father in her daring nature and need for speed. She would spend her time helping her mother in her candy shop while her father worked as a weather pony, and going out to race about Cloudsdale when there was no work to be done.
Meteor Burst did very well in Flight School, earning her flight-related cutie mark when she found that she could leave a fiery trail behind her as she flew fast; or, at least, it seemed to be a fiery trail, but it may well have been an illusion. She briefly considered applying to the Wonderbolt Academy, but decided against it. It just wasn't for her.
Once she was old enough to leave home, she took to traveling. She would fly to wherever she wanted to go as fast as she could (though obviously needing to take breaks), and would explore the new locations before taking off again. Her main residence isin Cloudsdale, but she likes Canterlot and Ponyville too.

5. A colt is bullying a filly in the Manehattan street. When your OC looks to him, he turns to your OC and snaps, "What're you looking at?" Given your OC’s personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.
Meteor Burst huffed through her nose and fluffed her wings a little, hooves clopping sharply as she approached the boy. She was a tall pegasus by adult standards, she was not going to be intimidated by this little brat. Her short tail lashed and she stopped just short of the boy, looming over him.
"I'm looking at a bullying little brat who's going to get his rump handed to him if he doesn't rethink his situation and back off. Right now." Meteor snarled, brows lowered dangerously over golden eyes. It was clear that the colt had expected her to just look away and leave; he seemed hesitant, unsure, before her scowled and went to snap at her again.
"Hey, lady--" He got out, before Meteor feinted a lunge that sent him scrabbling away in the sort of panic common to young boys when their bluff is called. Meteor smirked to herself a little and looked to the bullied filly. Poor dear, getting picked on like that! Meteor shuffled her wings and smiled warmly at the little girl. It would be best to get her home to her parents now, she was clearly upset by the ordeal.
"Hey, little one. You okay? Let's get you home, yeah?" Meteor crouched down and let the little filly climb onto her back, bouncing a few times to make her giggle, and followed the girl's directions to take her home. Poor little darling! Boys could be so cruel. Meteor dropped her off at her house, exchanged cursory greetings and explanations with her mother, and took off again. Maybe the little brat of a colt's parents would find out, and he'd get a proper scolding.
