Mushroom CloudGender: Female
Species: Pegasus
Mane: Thick, black and short
Tail: Matches the mane
Eyes: Orange

Cutie Mark: A mushroom cloud
Age: Young adult
Personality: Mushroom Cloud is a hot-tempered mare, who is easily impressed, especially by all things big and loud. Large explosions make her giggle like there’s no tomorrow, so naturally, she loves her line of work. She is quite impressionable, and can be naive in certain situations. Although she has learned to be careful around explosives, she has a rather reckless nature, which potentially puts her in dangerous situations (as it has in the past). She is curious, talkative and not the best keeper of secrets – mostly due to her being a horrible liar. Furthermore, Cloud has a tendency to forget considering other ponies’ feelings before opening her mouth.
Likes: Spectacle, sunny days, warm fires, spending time with other ponies, fruit.
Dislikes: Awkward silence, mornings, deep waters, dressing up, long books, being called a cripple.
History: Cloud grew up in Trottingham with her parents and three older brothers. Their family weren’t the wealthiest, but they were not tragically poor, either. Having lived with a flock of young stallions most of her life, Cloud is used to having to make some ruckus in order to be noticed. She discovered her love for spectacle early on, when she saw a fireworks show as a filly. Eager to be in control of such great powers herself, she took a skyrocket without anypony noticing and attempted to fire it herself. The young pony messed up, and her recklessness cost her a wing that day. This did not, however, make her lose her infatuation with explosions; in fact, it made her gain a certain respect for the powers of gunpowder and, on top of that, her cutie mark. Today, she lives in Ponyville, where she produces and sells explosives, primarily for mining and firework shows.
Example RP segment: Cloud trotted along a busy Ponyville street, humming a tune that had been stuck in her head the whole day. She was headed home, just returning from a friend’s house, her saddlebag now stuffed with cookies he had baked for her. The sun on her face and the sound of ponies laughing and talked around her made her feel absolutely exhilarated. But in the midst of the crowd, she suddenly heard a noise that stood out from the others.
It was the sound of a small foal, sobbing uncontrollably. She seemed to be alone. Cloud’s ears dropped in sympathy. The filly was obviously lost and scared out of her mind. Cloud approached the foal with a smile. “Heya kid,” she hollered, “are you lost? Where are your parents?” The filly ceased her cries for a second to look at the stranger, but then continued bawling her eyes out, taking a few cautious steps backward. Cloud pouted. She had never been too good with foals. Not that she didn’t like them, mind you – in fact, she loved the little devils – but they always seemed to be scared of her from the get-go. This rather complicated the situation.
Cloud looked around her. Nopony else seemed to have noticed the ruckus. She pulled a cookie out from her bag and offered it to the filly, whose cries slowly died away. She greedily eyed the cookie, grabbed it, although with some hesitation, and gobbled it up. Cloud grinned at her. “Better?” she asked as calmly as she could manage. The filly snivelled, but nodded. “Alright then,” said Cloud, “now let’s find your parents!”
