Personality: Easily confused but sweet as cherry pie

Likes: cooking because it's her special talent, meeting new ponies because she treasures friendship, sunshine because it's warm and bright and being outside when it's sunny because she loves the sun.

Dislikes: cold weather because the sun isn't as warm as she thinks it should be, things that confuse her so, things she doesn't understand and lemons because she think's they're too sour.

History: when Cloudwing was just a filly, she used to pick cherries with her grandma at the weekends. They would fill their saddle bags with the fruit and take them back home. Cloudwing's grandma would use the cherries to make pies, cakes and all sorts of delicious treats. Eventually, she started to teach Cloudwing how to make these treats and it turned out that she was a natural. She and her grandma would make as many pies and cakes as they could and sell them at the market.

One day, a pony asked for a wedding cake that had to be absolutely perfect and, willing to help a friend, Cloudwing accepted the order. She spent days thinking about what a perfect wedding cake would look like, but everything she tried just didn't turn out right. She searched everywhere for a good recipe but she soon realised that it wouldn't be special if she copied someone else. The wedding was only a week away and she had gotten nowhere with the cake. She thought back to the cakes she made with her grandma, butter, sugar, eggs and flour, but there was something missing. It was then, when an idea sprang to mind and she fastened on her saddlebag and rushed away to the market. She'd need plenty of icing and food colouring, ingredients to make a sponge cake and many, many cherries. Once she'd got all that was on her list, she rushed home and started working right away. Finally, it was the day of the wedding. The cake was hidden until the traditional unveiling and Cloudwing was very excited. She waited patiently for everypony to gather around, then pulled away the red blanket that covered her work, not even noticing as it fell onto her back. There were gasps of awe as the blanked came down and everypony had their eyes on the cake. It had a brown base that was the spitting image of a tree trunk, a green cloud on top resembling the leaves on the branches and in among the leaves were real cherries, glued in place by the icing. Each cherry would catch the light and glow brightly, making the cake look absolutely stunning. Cloudwing's eyes were aglow as she heard words of praise bouncing through the crowd. "That truly is an incredible cake." Her grandma commented as she rejoined her. She took a step back to admire her work and almost tripped on the blanket that hung across her flank. She pulled it of and gasped as her eyes met two cherries, shining off her rump just like the ones on her cake. "Grandma, look!" She cried excitedly. "I got my cutie mark!" and she flapped her wings happily. Skipping with glee, she trotted of to join the crowd of friendly faces.

Example RP segment: Cloudwing trotted through the rain miserably. The rain clouds had blocked the sunlight and she wanted nothing more than to fly up and clear the skies, but she had to let it rain today, so that plants and crops got watered quickly. She looked up and spotted lights ahead of her. As she got closer, she realised it was a tavern, full of ponies she'd never met before. Her mind was buzzing with excitement as she thought of all the new friends she could make, just by walking in. With a giggle of glee, she forgot all about the rain and dashed inside.
