History: Hops was a Pony, who at a young age discovered a love of The Bar Scene, of the music and the people. He grew up on a vineyard and took that experience with him in his work as a server, later becoming a brewer, and even later still, a Bar-Keep.
Hops lives above his Bar, with only daughter, Barley. Barley happily works in the bar and loves her father. Hops has been known to take out his Violin and play for his customers, when he does this it is also often that Barley will dance, as well.
Th Bar's name is "The Trotting Mare" and it has been in operation for 14 years.
Example RP segment: Your OC is framed by a robber who plants his weapon on him/her. A Guardpony threatens to take your OC into custody. Given your OC’s personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.
Hops was being confronted by a Guard in his own Bar! This was unacceptable... 'I could use business...' Hops sighed and looked directly into the Guard's eyes, glad to see he flinched a little.
"Now... If I get this straight... You are accusing me of stealing Ale... My own Ale?"
"Well, you... have the capabilities... and... you like Ale... The weapon used in the robbery!"
Hops thrust himself over the bar table and looked down at the guard. "I think... Ye ought to ask that Mare, ye know, that one wit the flask of Ale?"
The guard did a double take, as he know noticed a hooded mare with a flask trotting quickly away. "Uh... Hold on! Wait!" The guard ran off.
Hops settled behind his table... and huffed a bit... "Well... Looks like, I'm out a flask of Ale..."
