Personality:Emerald is a pony who always smiles, she loves to meet new ponies and will always try to meet new friends. She is a very loyal but independent pony. Emerald gets excited about pretty much anything. She will not talk about her past unless she trusts that pony.
Likes:Traveling, meeting new ponies, and being a guard,cotton candy,having fun
Dislikes:Bullying,talking about her past,her real family,silence,being sad and lonely or other ponies being sad and lonely
History:Emerald Dream had dreamed of being a guard when she grew up. Well, her parents didn't like that idea and had other plans for her, like being a house wife like her mother. She got so mad one night that she ran away from the Crystal Empire to Canterlot. A few weeks later a royal guard who was off duty found her and took her in as his own. When Emerald was sixteen and training to become a guard her "father" had died. His last words to her were "Please promise me you will always smile for me no matter what." Of course she kept her promise and smiled no matter what. She later completed training and became a guard.
When she was on vacation or they let her take a break for her amazing work, she traveled and helped other ponies have a smile on their faces.No history is good without a Cutie Mark story! Well, after the guard had taken Emerald in, she told him what she had wanted to do. Whenever he was off of duty and she was out of school they would train and he would show her what was good and what was bad. One day her training paid off, because she found a colt bullying another nerdy colt. Emerald knew what she had to and pushed the bully out of the way, she warned him that if she caught him doing that again she would have to beat him up. The nerdy colt was behind her of course, and noticed she had gotten her Cutie Mark. She didn't have any other pony to hug at the time and hugged him. Emerald didn't ever realize that the hug was the start of her friendship with that colt.

Emerald Dream had trotted for what seemed like forever in the rain. She was smiling though. Emerald spotted a tavern and trotted in. Not many ponies noticed her though, because they were having fun with their friends! She found a stallion sitting alone and sat next to him. She bought them both a drink and started a conversation. By the time the rain stopped they were still smiling and talking. When she left the tavern she knew that she had made that stallions day.
