A Little Problem - Problem Identified, Rebooting.

"Argh!" Kid shouted in pain as hey crumpled on the ground in pain, incapacitated by the sheer amount of pain shooting through his body. It took a mere half of a minute of dealing with the pain for him to black out.

He was then escorted to the hospital by his to-be adopted parents Calla Lily and Brawny Hooves. As the moments, seconds, minutes and hours progressed, Kid's condition got steadily worse and worse. After the eighth hour, the doctors came out to the to-be parents. He informed them of the worst. Kid had perished. It turned out that Kid's lung had been torn open by a broken rib bone that was not detected earlier. It was held in place by another rib, but shook loose when he screamed in pain. Now because of it, Kid is dead. . .?

It was the day of Kid's funeral, a good two weeks after the death. Mainly due to the birth of Nikki. Nikki had been born without any complications and with good timing. Being able to be there to support her parents while they dealt with their nearly-son, Kid's death. On the day of, everypony gathered around to mourn (by everypony, Brawny, Lily, Nikki and few others.)

When they were about to bury the coffin, something that could be declared both a miracle and a nightmare occurred. A loud scream of pain emitted from the coffin - a scream that belong to the one and only Kid (almost) Hooves.

Calla felt the tears streaming down her face as she felt Nikki's warm little body on her back. She looked down at the heartbreakingly small coffin holding her almost-son, Kid. He had died far too young.

She gently layed a white crystal rose on top of the casket as they started lowering it into the ground, something that would stay with him forever.

"Goodbye, my Kid," she whispered.

Suddenly, a high-pitched scream emanated from the casket. Everypony froze, not knowing what had just happened. Then again.

"Kid?" she asked fearfully, the first pony to speak. Her voice was filled with terror and hope. "Is... is that you?"

Brawny Hooves was holding his wife and his daughter closely. It's always horrible to see your child die before you. Even if they weren't officially your child yet. He really connected with Kid in the few months he knew him. Even big Brawny Hooves was crying to see him in the small casket.

While trying his best to comfort Calla, he heard a loud shriek come from the casket. he panicked and ran up to it. He looked into it and saw Kid screaming. Was he still alive? Was he still breathing even after the doctors declared him dead?

"Kid? You alright? Speak to me, man. Come on Little Man. Wave or something so that I know you can hear me."

Kid was breathing heavily when the coffin was opened, his body squirming in an obvious amount of intense pain. He was not in good condition, something you could tell just my looking at him. His body had wasted away even more so than before, to the point where you could detect his pulse and find where the breaks in his bones were by a glance.

Kid smiled weakly as his eyes fluttered open and he was able to breathe fresh air again. Going to say something to Brawny, but only managing a slight moan of pain. He began breathing heavier, holding the area that hurt the most (around his lungs.)

"Oh my Faust!" Calla cried. She rushed over to the coffin, holding Nikki on her back with her magic. "Oh...."

She felt tears pouring, now, but it was from the miracle laying before her. Kid... He was alive. He was alive!

She put her hooves on the side of the casket and looked, not wanting to injure her colt anymore.

"Kid!" she exclaimed. "It's you! You're alive!"

Brawny Hooves looked at Kid. So he was alive. But he looked far from it. It was a great feeling to see his almost son breathing. Even though he was breathing heavily and holding on for dear life.

"Oh my Faust... Kid! You're, alive! I think. We thought we lost our son. But, he doesn't look great. He needs help. He may be alive, but he looks almost dead. We need a doctor, or something."

(Sorry it's short. Too lazy to think of much right now)

Kid didn't know how to show it, seeing as how he couldn't explain through speech (with how much pain he was in) he simply cried and screamed in pain again. He wanted multiple things right now and couldn't communicate how to get any of them.

1) He wanted to get out of the coffin. NOW.

2) He wanted to stop hurting. Willing to swallow a thousand pain pills at this moment.

3) He wanted to eat something. NOW

4) He wanted somepony to hold him and make him feel loved...he felt so lonely.

((AAAH! TOO FAST!))

Calla saw how muchpain he was in. It was even worse than before... She sent a huge wave of painkilling spells over his little body, levitating him out of the coffin and onto Brawny's back, as hers was occupied.

"Kid, it's okay, we'll get you to the hospital as soon as possible," she assured, tears of joy streaming down her face. "We love you, it's okay..."

Brawny Hooves carried Kid on his back and bolted for the hospital. He has never ran so fast in his entire life. He was surprised Kid was even able to stay on his back. And he somehow wasn't out of breath the entire time. Must be the panic and adrenaline of saving his son.

Brawny charged into the hospital and tried to find a doctor or a nurse or somepony that could help him. He had no idea how he could be helped, but if he was still breathing, there had to be a way.

"Somepony help! I need a doctor! My son is hurt!"

The marse and stalluons in the hospital froze when Brawny Hooves burst through the doors. While audible gasps were heard when the saw Kid, still alive. Before too long, there was a frenzy of medical personal rushing to save the young colts life.

Kid didn't notice any of the action because he had passed out on the rush over there.
