Icarus' Starts a long time ago...

One Day, While reading from an old Book of Magic, Icarus happened to chance looking out a Window, And Saw a Bird, looking intently, before turning and flying off. then, Icarus Knew, He had to at least try Flying. Later that Afternoon, Wearing what appeared to be a Simple Kite Strapped to his back, Icarus Stood on the Roof of his old home. "W-Wings... C-Check. W-Windspeed... B-Blowing. R-Roof... b-being a r-roof. W-We're a-all set!" the Young Colt Said Bravely, Mentally Preparing himself to jump off. With a running start, Iccy Flew... And, A Strong Gust of wind Snapped the Already Stressed Branch holding the Glider together, and Icarus tumbled to the ground, a CRACK Sounding as he fell.

Two days later, one of Icarus' Legs was Wrapped up in a cast, but, throwing the Covers aside, his Cutie Mark Was There!


FUN FACT: depending on the Age of the Main six, That Gust of Wind can be Replaced by a Wave of Chromatic Energy!

Canvis was painting a portrait of Princess Celestia as a young filly, she had just finished and was letting it dry outside the post office, with a roll of bubble wrap and a parcel. "Nice picture, where did you buy it?" a stranger asked as they trotted by, not waiting for an answer. Canvis was gleeful and packaged it and wrote the castle's adress on it and sent it away. A week later a letter came from the castle. It read: "Dear Canvis, I recived your portrait of me a day ago and it was picture-perfect. Especially for your age! I am pleased to say I hung it up in the old art gallery in the castle, since it's the only gallery in Equestra. You are talented and have your whole life ahead of you, keep practicing, Princess Celestia." As a pegasai she had to paint with her mouth so her pictures were poor quality. When she read the letter, her heart fluttered and she felt like she could fly forever. Sudenly she felt sparks, in a good way and she lifted the letter up without her hooves, it was surrounded by purple magic. Canvis gasped and the magic disappeared. She ran to a mirror and saw a horn and a cutie mark that was a paintbrush dipped in red paint. The end.

This is a great idea. I would do Shala, but its not a happy story and would best be told when the right time came, or if someone manages to pry her enough for it. When it does, it may be posted here.
