Sawdust SplinterGender: Female
Species: Unicorn
Mane: Short and sandy colored, with a tomboyish look.
Tail: Pretty much the same as the mane.
Eyes: A dark green hue, just like her brothers.
Body: Big and strong, more like a male colt body than a regular mares.
Cutie Mark: A saw enveloped by a gold ring. She recieved her cutie mark after building an amazing treehouse with her friends in Hoofington, which took her a whole day of doing what she had, by then, realized was her special talent: woodcraft. Unfortunately, this was the last day she would be living in Hoofington until she took a train to Ponyville, so she had not much time to share the achievement with her friends.
Age (Baby,adult): 14-16
Personality: Sawdust Splinter has a personality much like Shinygear's, before he became a completely different pony. This makes a lot of sense,
as Shiny was Sawdust's ultimate role model growing up. That being said, she is kind, willing to share all of her blessings, and is always willing to make friends. Unlike Shiny, she is resilient to most insults or 'bad things' that head her way. She is very supportive, which is proven every day of her life when she is helping Shiny with his work. The only ordinary things she can't stand is the color pink. As a tomboy, the color pink drives her crazy and to this day everything she has ever made that had the color pink
Likes: Woodcutting, woodcraft, tree-forts, her big brother, her toolbox of saws and tree-taps, maple syrup.
Dislikes: Grumpy ponies, swimming, frilly clothing, the color pink, romance films, and carrots.
History: Sawdust Splinter was born from a family in Hoofington, made up of her dad, her mom and her big brother, whom she a adores to this day. Sawdust was always a happy young mare, sharing everything with everypony. However, a lot of the time other ponies wouldn't always want what she had to offer, for her interest was woodcraft. Let me explain.
Ever since her first picnic among her family, she had always loved climbing the trees and sampling birch bark to draw and color on. This meant that most of the things she would hand out to other young ones included toys and building blocks made of...you guessed it, wood. This involved lots of splinters, and a lot of unhappy 'customers', as she liked to call the young ones she gave her Knicks knacks out to. But even after all the chaos that went into making her creations, she kept on whittling and having a good time.
One day, sawdust was playing out in the forest, when she found a beautiful branch. It was short and very wide, just small enough for Sawdust to carry with her limited magic. This stick soon after became the trademark club she carries around today, which she loves just as much as her brother.
Now Sawdust is 16-years-old, and not much has changed. She has a cutie mark for what she loves, and she is currently living with her big brother in ponyville. She has little to no friends, but the ones she has are great ones. She loves her school and her new teacher, and she is still "the happiest little mare I know", according to her big brother.
Example RP segment: 2. A secret admirer confesses his/her love to your OC. Given your OC’s personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.
"W-what?!" Sawdust gasped, blushing hot red as the young colt in front of her said those magic words. "I think I have a crush on you. Will you be my valentine?" the young one asked again, as he smiled eagerly. Sawdust staggered backwards, unable to say anything. As she tumbled backwards, the young colt grasped her hoof, and pulled Sawdust to her hooves. "Are you alright?" he asked. "...Yes. I will be y-your valentine." Sawdust replied, as she hugged the colt and secretively slipped a wooden swan into the pocket of his jacket.
