Snippet 25: Hearth's Warming Traditions
"You don't celebrate Hearth's Warming?" Lost Spirits asked the pony sitting across the bar from her. As smile and a shake of the head was the response.

It was definitely the busiest time of the year.
Of course it was. Stuffed toys were always high in demand for gifts and as a toymaker, Warm Threads expected her store, usually full of soft felt friends, to be empty come Hearth's Warming Day. Her work, and her mouth, went unstopped up until Eve turned to Day when everything just...stopped.
Warm Threads usually spent Hearth's Warming Morning feeling as empty as the shelves she stared at. Her companions that she spent much time and effort on, had left to help make a foal somewhere have a warm Hearth's Warming.

This exchange between siblings had ironically enough become a tradition of its own. Despite everything, the Design siblings were Canterlot nobles and some traditions were unquestionably obeyed.
"Is everything ready for tomorrow?" Elegance asked sharply. Intel nodded. Tomorrow held one of the biggest traditions of all.
