Arabesque
IMG ISH COMING SOON I REPEAT IMG ISH COMING SOON
Gender: Female
Species: Earth Poneigh
Mane: It's an ash gray color, usually found in a bun. If not put up in a bun then you may see that it goes down to her chest, but doesn't go past it. Medium length.
Tail: Short and kept with the same ash gray.
Eyes: A shimmering green.
Body:A cream color. Normal build.
Cutie Mark: None...yet.
Age (Baby,adult): Filly (11)
Personality: I like to say that Arabesque has to personalities, one when dancing, and one when not.
Ambitious and competitive when dancing, this little filly won't let anything stand in her way when she's doing ballet. She becomes a whole different pony, suddenly alive and full with energy, yet graceful. It seems that her green eyes become brighter and more beautiful. She lets her ballet do all the talking, and usually is silent during this state of mind.
When she isn't doing ballet, Arabesque becomes quite dull, really. Usually she has nothing to say, and struggles with homework. If you have a good eye, her shimmering green eyes become more of a gray, dull, and not inspired. If you look at her, you would often find her head drooping down, with an emotionless expression.
Likes: Ballet, stretching, ballet, dancing, Cloud Dancer (she's her role model, further explained in History), more ballet, buns, exercise, competing, The Canterlot Academy of Dance, pointe shoes (even though they hurt. A lot), did I mention ballet?
Dislikes: School, not doing ballet, homework, many forms of social interaction outside of ballet.
History: Arabesque was born to a mare who ran one of the many homes for parentless foals. Her mother was always very happy and cheerful, and she made sure that all the little foals and fillies felt at home. They always had dinner all together, and it felt like one, big, happy family. This affected Arabesque's personality for the better. She was always a very happy, optimistic foal, growing up with many friends. Whenever one of the foals would get sad, or angry, she would always be there for them.
One day, near Hearts Warming Eve, her mother took her and all the other foals to go see The Nutcracker, preformed by The Canterlot Ballet Company. While most of the other foals were bored, Arabesque paid close attention to the ballerina's graceful, careful moves. She especially enjoyed watching the Prima Ballerina, Cloud Dancer. She looked as though she was flying. She knew at that very moment that is what she wanted to do. Strange enough, her cutie mark didn't appear.
After that, she spent hours upon hours locking herself in her room, practicing ballet, doing nothing else. It was the only thing on her mind 24/7. Ballet ballet ballet.
She started to become a lot less social, always constantly thinking about ballet. It was as if she wasn't there, always in her mind, wrapped up in thoughts of ballet. The only time you could see her former energetic self was when she was preforming.
Cloud Dancer was her role model. She put posters of her on her wall, always thinking "What would Cloud Dancer do?" She prided herself in having green eyes just like her role mode;.
Her plan was to practice and practice and practice till she could get into The Canterlot Academy of Dance, and go on to get a contract with The Canterlot Ballet Company.
Her mother noticed this unhealthy obsession with ballet, but trusted herself that her dear daughter would grow out of it soon enough.

(2. A secret admirer confesses his/her love to your OC. Given your OC’s personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.)
Arabesque was at school. One of the most dreaded places in Equestria for her. It was lunchtime, so she went out into the school field to practice her ballet, using the fence as her bar.
A particularly rough looking colt approached her shyly, and through a piece of paper at her hooves and ran off.
She was angered by the paper throwing, but picked it up anyways.
In unbelievably messy handwriting, it said, "Do you want to be my special somepony? Check yes or no,"
She giggled at the paper and scoffed, throwing it at the floor. Colts were a mere distraction to the real joy in life. Ballet.
And with that, she continued to practice.
Acceptance!!!
