Personality: Masquerade is rather arrogant, and believes that she is amazing at everything-even when she's not. She can seem rude to other ponies, overconfident, even conceited-which she is. She will never be stopped from talking, which she does just to hear herself speak. She will say whatever she wants, even if it seems mean to the recipient. She doesn't care, she's amazing at everything! It doesn't matter what any one pony thinks, right?
She thinks that she can do anything without getting in trouble, and that nopony will ever get mad at her for any reason. She's an amazing actress though, there are never faults in her acting, despite there being many in her personality.
Likes: Acting, audiences, crowds, plays, improv, attention, cameras
Dislikes: Ignorance, being ignored, bad actors, rude ponies, ponies who are mean to her, being called a bad actress
History:
Mask grew up with 6 siblings, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She rarely got attention from her parents. She was the second oldest, and therefore her mom and dad didn't pay her much attention because she could take care of herself, and was needed to care for the younger ones. But she wished they would at least act like they cared, because she would always try to get their attention. She went through phases, tried to show them things she could do, but it never worked, never even fazed them.
But they didn't exactly notice, they were always busy with her 5 younger siblings. So she tried to get attention at school, always showing off. But everypony just called her an attention whore, and she'd go home and cry. All she wanted was for somepony to care.
But nopony ever did, so she left home as soon as soon as she was old enough. Ever since she was young, she'd had a special talent for acting. The one time her parents paid her any attention, was when she got her cutie mark. She had been 3 years old, and took an acting class for school. She showed an immediate talent for it, and discovered the little mark on her flank soon after.
Her parents had been so proud, her mother pregnant at the time with their 4th foal. Mask had left to find acting jobs when she was 16, and had since been acting in whatever plays she could get into. She nearly always got the female lead, and always played it well.
She grew obsessed with the attention she got from acting, and couldn't get enough of it. She became overconfident of her abilities and looks. And to most, she was an amazing actress, yet to many she was also rude and arrogant. She didn't mind, she was happy with her life. She had plenty of money from her acting business, and she was great at her job. Mask got requests to try out multiple times every year. She loved the attention!

2. A secret admirer confesses his/her love to your OC. Given your OC’s personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.
Mask waited in her room as the assistants worked on her mane and make up. They straightened her blue mane, and blushed her cheeks, put mascara on her eyelashes. Even without them she was beautiful, and she knew it. A knock sounded on the door, and she waved for an assistant to open it.
"Um..hello?" squeaked a nervous voice. Mask looked up, a stallion stood in the doorway holding a bouquet of roses.
"Hello." Mask replied in a silky voice.
"Um...I saw your last performance, you were amazing." he complimented her, holding out the bouquet, "This is for you."
"I know." Mask said, brushing her mane behind her shoulder. "Thanks." she waved at another assistant, who took the bouquet and placed the roses in a vase.
"Is that all?" she asked, looking the stallion up and down.
"Um no, my name is Eric. And, I, I was wondering if you'd like to go out sometime..." he asked nervously
"No, I'm good." Mask rolled her eyes, flicking her wrist to dismiss him. The stallion was shocked and it showed on his face, an assistant closed the door and they returned to Mask.
