Luna's Banishment

Prologue 1,000 Years Ago

"We've had enough sister! Your day has made our night go unnoticed! THE NIGHT SHALL GET THE RESPECT IT DESERVES!" Hissed the enraged, and yes, pregnant Luna. Her fur changed, from a innocent dark blue to a cold black. Her cute, light blue, curly mane and tail turned into the night sky. Her teeth had fangs now. Luna's crown turned into a helmet, her shoes into boots, and her necklace into body armor.

Celestia gasped. "H-How did you do that?" She managed to say, she didn't get a answer, only evil laughter. She didn't know what to do, her sister had become her worst nightmare. Luna flew outside, it took many ponies by surprise. They watched as their day quickly turned into night.

"THE NIGHT SHALL LAST FOREVER!" exclaimed Nightmare Moon happily and evilly. Ponies panicked as their ruler flew above them, fearing their lives. When all hope was practically lost Celestia managed the courage to use the elements to banish her sister to the moon. The ponies cheered for their princess, chanting "The nightmare is gone!" After realizing what she had just done, tears streamed down her face. Her sister was now gone, and she wouldn't see her for 1,000 years.

Chapter 1: On The Moon

Nightmare Moon sat on her deserted wasteland, but not that deserted. It seemed that Celestia, or even her parents knew that this would come one day because there was something very odd. Supplies perhaps? She trotted towards it. It was an air tight door in the ground! Are there others? are we not alone? The princess wondered. She opened the door and trotted down a few steps before turning around and closing the odd door. Using her horn to light the way she found torches and lit them up on at a time.

She called out "Hello? can anypony her us? Hellooo?" She had turned back into her young, cute self when she got to the door. She trotted but got stopped quickly and fell on her back. "HALT!" yelled the pony. Th-there's others? Luna got up and stood tall. "Thou shall not halt us for we are the princess of the night and co-ruler of Equestria! Let us pass!" Demanded Luna. The pony sighed. "I shall let thou pass but you will have to stay with me, Princess Luna" Luna followed the pony who she cold now identify as a stallion. As they were walking she finally asked, "How is thou here? We would also like to ask... Why?" So he did.
