| Blind usually never asks for help with much. She doesn't usually like the feeling of asking for charity or seeming like she can't help herself. When dealing with her old friend though, she didn't mind as much. Lunar was the one who stuck by her side after she first went blind. As annoying as she could be at times, her friendship was valuable to her.
~~~~~Elsewhere~~~~~
Lunar was bouncing along the road in her usual manner on the way to pick up Blind at her home. She was so excited! A full day with her most awesomazing friend ever?! It's a dream come true! The only thing she could think of as being as fun would be one of those parties in Ponyville! She had heard stories of a pink mare with more energy than the sun, But that's irrelevant. Her friend was waiting on her!
| It was a funny thing, to her at least, to see a pony bouncing along the road upsidedown. Normally there had to be a lot of alcohol involved to see things like that, but being sober? It was different. Well, kinda. She wasn't honestly and completely sober. It had been a while since she drank that much. Ever since she left that hospital...
Today was like any other day she had off. Her small house with an even smaller picket fenced in lawn in the front. She never thought she had the capacity to ever care for a house, but here she was, nicely cut lawn with a decent small house, laying upsidedown on a hammock watching the ponies pass by. If she could travel back in time and have her past self see her....well she could, but that would be kinda pointless and probably start a fight. Those days were gone now though. The turbulence of her past was all but gone. No more homeless desparation, emotional breakdowns, or voilent outbreaks. Instead she had a stable peaceful life....A simple...uninteresting and lonely life. She had her nights out at the bars but not like before. She was the ambiance now. The pony who didn't try to insert herself. Part of her liked the calm it brought...but it was also lonely. The other part of her wanted to go out and do something.
She had moved in not too many weeks ago and had hardly gotten to know anyone here. It was far better than her torn up apartment that she moved out of thanks to another promotion at her job. It was nice and reassuring to have stability...but was it worth it all?
She expertly took a sip from her bottle of Fizzy Berry Pop , a carbonated wine juice that eased her nerves but didn't get her too crazy, while she hung upside down. Blue mane hanging from her head, she stared at the pony with the three stars on her flank a bit too closely as she bounced on by.
...I wonder if she skips like that all day, or maybe she is on drugs or something. Is she one of my neighbors? She better not be the one with that noisy dog. I swear I'm going to get one of those blow darts and knock him out every night.
Of course, she still had some of the spark of her former self. Good ole Shala.
| Star Sapphire trotted happily along the sidewalk of Canterlot. For once in the longest time, she did not have to worry about patients or work or chores. She had the day completely free and she was planning on enjoying every bit of it. It was a beautiful day after all, and she knew that both of them could use the fresh air and exercise.
Her belly slowly swayed back and forth as she trotted along, the baby growing bigger. It was quite obvious now that she was pregnant. Star herself had her mane done up in a curly style, almost like she was going out for some fancy dinner. In fact, she was just about to stop at a local cafe for a bite to eat when something caught her attention. She saw a pony literally bouncing her way down the street. Star would have been bowled over by the energetic unicorn if she was only another foot or so to the right. "Careful now!" said Star, patting her belly, "You might crash into somepony."
| Errands, errands, errands.
Amina sighed, picking at the food on her plate. She was stalling, taking her sweet old time. There was so much to do, but she didn't particularly want to do it.
She knew her year in Equestria was almost up, and she regretted not doing enough of what she wanted. It was unfortunate that she would be returning home. It seemed like no time had passed at all, which she took as both a good sign and a bad. Things had been rough in the first few weeks, but she had truly come to like the ponies of Equestria. Most of them, at least. However, she was longing a little for home at the time... at least, in Arabia, she wouldn't be greeting so many nobles and ambassadors (such as herself). There would certainly be less stress.
She took a bite of her salad just as a very happy-looking mare started to bounce across the street. It put a smile on Amina's face to see such glee, momentarily making her forget her issues. Then she saw another mare, one the former had almost run into, and she smiled again. It was a gift, pregnancy, and she remarked that, from a distance, she could tell already that the mare would be a good mother.
She left a few bits on the table and got up to leave. As she did so, a gust blew in, clinking the ornaments on her saddle and headdress together in a symphony of bell-like sounds. What worried her more was the scarf, floating in the wind, that had just been draped over her back. She watched the pink strip of fabric flutter in the wind before it landed at the hooves of the pregnant mare. Trotting over as quickly as she could without making a scene, she stepped on the renegade scarf to keep it from blowing away.
"I am terribly sorry," she said. "Ze wind is a strong force to reckon wis."
| Lunar often forgets to watch where she's going. In her defense, however, She was too excited to see her friend again soon that she couldn't be trusted to pay attention. She had almost bowled over this poor mare. "Hehe, Sorry!" She said flashing her trademark childish grin. glancing over for a second she waved at the mare on her doorstep. She looked like she needed a little happiness. Come to think of it, she was really close to her home, and she's never met this mare. This atrocity couldn't stand!
...at least it might for a few minutes. she was busy apologizing for nearly running into this other mare. Then she noticed something about this mare. her belly was pretty big! Lunar was always oblivious to some of the most obvious things, so she knew she was missing something.
Catching herself staring, she looks back up at her and smiles her usual smile. Then a familiar face showed up. it was the Saddle Arabian! "Hello!" Lunar said maybe a bit too loudly as she waved vigorously. She couldn't possibly forget somepony like her.
