'Spending' his recent earnings

The ponies mouth went agape, dropping the knife and threw some bits on the ground before running off. Silver felt tempted to chase after him, thinking he had more, but figured there was enough done.

He noted Bounty 'flashy' use of his swords. Silver rolled his eyes at him and collected the bits on the ground. This pony still bothered him a little, but he was at least tolerable.

"Chase him if you want. I don't care. I am up plenty of bits today for once. And no pony died."

Bounty tucked away his swords then chuckled a little when he suggested he go chase him. He didn't want to do anything more today, but crash somewhere. He was tried and covered in sticky dust. He looked around your camp for a second in thought.


"I'm not chasing him."

Silver counted and added the bits to his bag before settling down on his bedroll, staring right at Bounty. This had gone on long enough.

"Why are you following me? If you one of those colt cuddlers then you best be leaving."

Bounty had a upset look when he said coltcuddlers, he never liked that word or even thinking about other colts. Bounty was about to move till he realized leaving would mean he is a coltcuddler. He thought it best to express that before he goes.

"I don't like colts that way.

Silver did something surprising for once and burst out laughing. The way this pony said it just cracked him up.

"You're something else, bounty hunter." He said with a smirk once he simmered down.

Bounty blinked with his tried eyes, even rubbed them to make sure he wasn't seeing thing. Had he just heard him laugh? Did that mean he think Bounty is funny or something? Bounty never was good at jokes or for that matter making others laugh. Bounty looked up at the stars that were hanging out in the sky above him. He always liked stars, they were something you saw no matter where you went in life. He wondered what made him suddenly look up like that.

He looks back to SilverSpur who seem to be in bed and everything. "Mind telling me how manged to get a laugh out of you?"

Silver had not begun to get to bed yet, not while this pony was here on visit. He saw to getting a fire started though.

"Your a funny and odd pony in the right place at the right time. Nothing more to it." He said simply.

Bounty just watched the fire burn till it got brighter and brighter. Once the heat started coming off in full blaze he stepped back a little, didn't want his hair to get burned. Besides the dust could be flammable or there had to be random bits of dry grass that could light up. He didn't know what to say to what this colt was saying. He was gonna ask to explain more, but the colt stated nothing more. So he wasn't gonna get anything from him. He decided to change subject to think about the future.

"So is this settlement were making...." He didn't know how to ask this question right, so he stopped mid-sentence.

"....Is it what?" He asked, looking up from under the brim of his hat. He started to wonder when this pony would feel like retiring for the night.

"is this expanding Equestria or are we leaving Equestria? I can't tell, I don't think were being funded my the crown or anything." Bounty had a feeling he could of stumbled upon some sort of illegal land grabbing, well he didn't think that for sure. He did think it was possible.

Silver grunted and shrugged. "You think too much. Don't know what it is nor do i care. Bits are to be made. That's all i know.....You going to go home and sleep anytime soon?" He seemed to be a little impatient with waiting for Bounty.

Bounty now sees he has over stayed his welcome and stands up to leave. He tips his hat to you and walks off without a word to be said.

Silver watched him go. He never trusted any pony completely. Especially if he was going to be sleeping soon. Anypony could throttle him in his sleep. Once he was sure he was gone, he laid on his bedroll and took off his hat before getting some sleep.
