One to go

The afternoon sun beats down upon the small café, the light piercing through the windows and bathing the area inside with a soft golden glow, highlighting the darkened corners of the room.

Switchblade wanders up to the counter, still wearing his usual helmet and chestplate, scimitar at his side and goggles over his eyes, he smiles to the pony on the counter, ordering "A tea to go." then waiting at the side of the counter for the tea to be prepared.

Breezedancer trotted into the small cafe, folding her wings to her side as she approached the counter. She ordered an iced coffee and waited for her drink to be made. She spotted a pale brown unicorn stallion wearing a helmet and goggles, she tilted her head at the odd-looking stallion.

Trotting into the small café, Starflower saw a familiar face. Smiling, she walked to the counter and asked for a hot coco.

Breezedancer received her iced coffee, and while holding it in the prehensile feathers of her wing, went to a table and took a seat, sipping the sweetened drink through a straw.

Switchblade gets his tea, unfortunately it was in a mug instead of a to-go cup, he decides not to make a fuss about it, taking it with a smile and looking for a free seat.

Breezedancer saw the stallion looking for a seat and she waved him over. "Heyo!" She called, holding her coffee in her right wing.

As Switchblade walked by, Star made a small yelp from a kick in her stomach. Baby was hungry. "Ow... Can you wait till it's made?" she asked the air, aiming it to the baby.

Switchblade walks carefully over to the mare, sitting at the table and leaning his scimitar next to him, it glowing with a soft light somehow. He nods to the mare "Nice day, isn't it."

Breezedancer flicked her tail. "It's nice enough, the weather team around here seems to be a little lacking." She said, sipping her coffee. "Back in Cloudsdale, every day was a clear day, perfect flight weather."

She got her hot coco, and made her way over to a free seat behind Breezedancer and Switchblade. She walked past and said "Hello again, Mr. Switchblade." and sat down behind the Pegasus and the Unicorn.

Breezedancer saw Star, smiling. "Hi." She said as she turned around slightly to the Pegasus mare.

He turns around to face Starflower "Ah, hello again Miss Starflower; I hope your day has gone better than my day."

Starflower giggled and looked at them both. "If you count getting kicked in the stomach when you're hungry every time better. Mind If I join you?" she asked.

Arrow walked into the café, and made her way to the counter. "One caramel mocha, please." she said, paying the right amount.

Breezedancer nodded, then spotted a sandy colored mare with a vibrant blue mane. "Excuse me, I gotta mingle." She said with chuckle, hopping up from her seat and approaching the unicorn mare.

Switchblade nods as Breezedancer heads off, he smiles to Starflower "Please do join me; I would love some conversation."

Starflower smiled. Sure is polite. she thought. She grabbed her drink, and sat on the side where Breezedancer was on. "How have you been. I haven't seen you since I came to Ponyville."

Arrow was slightly annoyed. It doesn't take this long to make a caramel mocha in a Canterlot café... she thought. Sighing aloud she turned to see a gray Pegasus mare staring intensely into her eyes.

Breezedancer beamed slightly, looking at unicorn mare intensely. "Yeah, this place is pretty slow." She said, not breaking her gaze as she tried her best to keep her wings folded, despite some... Resistance. "That doesn't matter, your looks fix all those problems." She said, internally kicking herself. Sweet Celestia, that was awful.

Switchblade shrugs "Well, it's not been going too well for me at the moment; I've been pulled into all the high value jobs; so far I've been attacked at least once a week; juggle that with caring for my daughter, and my schedule is quite full."

"If you ever need a foal sitter, I can take her off your hooves." she offered.

"Um..." Arrow said. "What?"

Metal finally got all work done and entered the café for a lunch break. He smiled as he saw Starflower
"Sweetheart!" he called as he gave her a hug and took a seat next to her
"Hows it going?.. Hows our little one doing?" he said looking at her belly

Breezedancer gulped softly. "Nothing, it's nothing." She said, face-hoofing and shaking her head. "Forget I said that." She said, laughing awkwardly.

Switchblade jumps a bit at the other stallion dashing in, his scimitar would glow unbelievably brightly for a quick second before fading back to its dim glow.

"Hi, Metal dear. The baby's fine, now that I'm getting something to eat. You know Switchblade, am I right?"

"Gladly..." she grumbled.

Breezedancer's ears drooped slightly and she chuckled. "Uh.. let's start over, I'm Breezedancer."

"Thats great!" Metal looked over to Switchblade
"Oh hey Switchblade! Havent seen you in a while.. hows it going?"
