Personality: Lavender is a clear-headed mare who always likes to get things done as quickly and efficiently as possible. She mainly believes she doesn't have much time for a social life, but still likes to have a few friends to hang out with. She doesn't like interacting with ponies she doesn't know very well, especially peers, because she fears they will not like her. Consequently, it is very hard for her to make new friends or acquaintances. Usually cool and collected on the outside, on the inside Lavender gets stressed quite often, even for no reason. To keep from burdening the ponies around her by taking her stress out on them, she instead lets it all out by baking, painting, or drawing. She tries to see the good in every pony, even though she isn't very good at it.
Likes: Baking, sleep, art, animals, food, air conditioning, reading
Dislikes: Having to interact with ponies she doesn't know, burnt food, waking up early, sports, outdoors, babysitting, nighttime
History: LavenderSweet was born in a hospital in Canterlot, along with her twin sister, RoseSweet. Her parents were very surprised to learn that Lavender was an Earth-pony, seeing as her mother, father, and sister were all unicorns. Lavender and Rose were very happy foals that got along well with each other. When they were five, their mother noticed something weird on Rose’s hoof. The worried parents took her to the hospital. Lavender was depressed to hear that Rose had hoof and mouth disease. Lavender was not allowed to see her sister in the hospital, because it was very contagious. Rose died a month later. Five year old lavender was heartbroken. A year later she started going to school. While she was not bullied, some of the ponies liked to poke fun of her not being a unicorn. She was one of the only fillies in her school that was an earth pony. As a result, she now has very low self-esteem. She earned her cutie mark by baking a cake for a ball her family threw for her sister, cheering everypony up. As she grew up she realized more and more that Canterlot was not the place for her. Once she was out of culinary school, she decided to move to Ponyville. There she started working as a caterer, with a part time job working at a bakery. Ponyville is where she currently resides.
Example RP segment: #6: a colt is bullying a filly in a Manehattan street.
Lavender trotted down some Manehatten street she couldn't remember, looking at the ground.
“Why in Equestria did she send me to make the delivery?” Lavender thought as she walked. Something about a test… She hoped it would mean a raise. Even a raise might not be enough to satisfy her anger about going all the way to Manehattan for a “special delivery.” The street was empty except for a filly and a colt.
“Awww, can da wittle baby not use her horn?” she heard the colt say mockingly, presumably to the mare.
Lavender looked up from the ground. The colt didn't look very friendly.
“What’re you looking at?” the colt said, looking up from the mare, who was on the ground crying.Lavender was nervous. She wanted to help the mare, but… she really didn't want to talk to anyone.
“You. You and your friend.” she said, deciding to help.
“She isn’t my friend.” the colt said angrily.
“Well she should be. She looks awfully nice, at least to me.” she trotted over to the mare and helped her up. She noticed that the mare had a broken horn. It was already scared over, so the colt couldn’t have done it, thank Celestia.
“Hey! Go away!” the colt tried to look threatening.
It was kind of funny, actually. “C'mon, I'll take you home.” Lavender said, smiling.
“okay.” a little voice peeped. The colt seemed furious, but it looked like he wasn't going to hurt anypony. Not the mare, at least. She trotted behind the mare as she went home. Her delivery could wait.
“As usual, cool and collected Lavender saves the day again.” she thought, chuckling to herself.
“Are you laughing at me?” the mare peeped up.
“Oh, no sweetie. Just a joke I remembered.” Lavender started internally freaking out.
“She hates me! She thinks I was laughing at her. She is going to tell her mother I'm a freak! My life is over. I'm moving to Saddle Arabia. And changing my name-“ the mare suddenly stopped, causing Lavender to almost trip on her, interrupting her thoughts.
“We're here!” the mare called out in her sweet soothing voice. “Oh, uh, great. See ya!” Lavender said, wanting to leave. She really didn't want to meet the parents.
“Okay.. well, Thanks a bunch!” the mare smiled.
“Your welcome” Lavender smiled back.
“See you around town!” with that she opened a door and then it slammed shut behind her.
“Well, I guess that’s that.” Lavender thought as she started heading back to where she needed to go. Something had become very apparent. “I will probably never see this filly, ever again.”
