| Caramel MacchiatoGender: Female/Mare
Species: Pegasus
Mane: Caramel's mane is neatly brushed and combed with two segments tied in the front, the color is like that of silky smooth dark chocolate.
Tail: Although Caramel is fond of hygiene, her tail seemingly has a mind of its own. It is long and messy, and no matter how hard she tries to brush it, the darn thing always tangles back together. This is no matter, at least her hair is kept well.
Eyes: She believes her eyes are her best asset, its color radiating a warm golden hue, or to be more specific, honey.
Body: She, unlike most mares, is a little more lanky than usual, with slightly longer and spindly legs. Her body is speckled with pale and dark cream colors, almost mimicking human skin that would be diagnosed with vitiligo.
Cutie Mark: Caramel's cutie mark is of a tan/orange coffee cup with a single steam line coming from the top.
Age: Adult
Personality: This rather young mare can be summed up in two simple words; Kind and naive. Caramel, like a mother, is caring and considerate of others. When one is hurt, she comforts. Because of this, she is often given the impression that she is wise when in reality, Caramel has much to learn as well. One thing that ponies complain the most about her is the fact that she seems to have a strong dependency(As well as a clinginess) towards other ponies, which may be connected to her past. It is hard for her to let go at the end of the day, and usually, she would ask to spend the night or to linger just a little longer for the sake of her own loneliness. Diving deeper into Caramel's psyche, one may find out that it is extremely easy for her to be deceived. The thought of someone lying to her often slips her mind, which also means that Caramel has been swindled and stolen from in the past. To finish this all, the mare is also a bit of an airhead. She tries very hard to understand certain topics, and when trying to give an inspirational saying, she tends to mix up the words(And this in turn ruins her 'wise' visage)
Likes: + Caramel(The sweet) + Organization + Cleaning + Sweet treats + Caramel flavored treats + Coffee + Brewing Drinks
Dislikes: - Disorganization - Strawberries - Pies - Waking up in the morning without a cup of coffee(This makes her awfully cranky) - The Ocean, or any large bodies of water
History: One might assume Caramel was an only foal, since she rarely ever tells her story due to many complicated repressed memories. But, she had a sister, a twin in fact named Vanilla Frappé. At the time, Vanilla was the more boastful sister, while Caramel was the calmer of the pair, giving a nice balance between the two. They spent their time constantly together, exploring, learning, even sharing their meals.
As they aged, they began to expand their horizons and explore more, farther, longer. Every birthday they seemed to be out in the forests for longer, isolated with only each other to make sure they were safe.
It was nighttime, and the girls snuck out to explore. They had stumbled upon a rushing river, although to them it seemed calm due to the glimmering reflection of the stars on the surface. Vanilla had played on the rocks, fooling about while Caramel urged her to get off, wanting to go back home since it was late
- Warning Ahead:
"Please, Vanilla! I'm scared!" The young pegasus cried out, her hooves lightly trotting the ground in a hurried panic. "It's dangerous here, we can go somewhere else in the morning." "Don't be silly, Caramel, you're just being a baby." Her sister boasted as she hopped from rock to rock, her small wings flapping to give her a small boost. "Besides, mom and dad are asleep so we can come back when-" She was interrupted when her hoof had lost its footing on the rock, causing her to slip backwards and crash into the river. The pegasus struggled to free herself from the river, her wings feebly flapping. The water had dragged down her feathered wings, and her thrashing didn't seem to make anything better, in fact it might have made her move down the river faster.
Caramel chased her down the entire river, only stopping at the very edge when the river flowed out onto a tall waterfall that settled out on a lake. The bottom was filled with rocks, and at the time, Caramel didn't know what to do to save the one she loved. "Fly! Vanilla, fly! Somebody help us! Please! SOMEBODY!" Her cries echoed through the forest trees only to be heard by nothing as her sister met the cruel fate of the rocks.
In the morning, as her body washed up onto the shoreline, Caramel brought her parents to the scene and mourned the loss of their family member.
---
She doesn't like speaking of it, so getting the story out of her will take a deep amount of trust.Example RP segment:It was beginning to get dark, the sun setting on the horizon. Caramel found this evening to be quite calming to her, and especially rewarding due to a long day of errands. She was returning to her home when she heard a light sobbing in the distance, a young voice, which practically called out to her and hinted at her curiosity. The young mare turned her head, squinting as she investigated the source, finally stumbling upon a small frail body on the side of the street. "Hello there, little one." She cooed, plopping down right beside the small foal. He didn't reply, instead, he turned his head away. "What is the matter?" She asked, kneeling down. "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers..." He managed to muster through a whimper. "Oh goodness, your parents taught you well. But I'm not a bad stranger, heavens no." A soft chuckle escaped her parted lips, "I'm Caramel Macchiato, there, now we're not strangers anymore. Now will you tell me what's wrong?" "Mn..." The foal sat up and rubbed his eyes. "My mom..." "What about your mother?" "I lost her, I don't know where she is... I want my mom!" He sobbed and threw his head back, snot dripping from his nostrils. "Oh dear! Don't worry, little one! I'll help you find your mother, come come, no tears! You know how the saying goes, uh; Where we home is love - love that our feet may leave, but not our hearts... Er, I think it was the other way around? Never mind that!" Caramel rose to her hooves and picked him up. Spreading her wings, she flew into the sky and scouted for his mother, asking him for a brief description while soaring through the town. In the end, Caramel successfully reunited foal with mare and received a fresh blueberry muffin as well. [ Acceptance ]
