Meanwhile, in Manehattan...

Sunset Streak, a Pegasus with a blue body, and red mane, walks down the street of a busy Manehattan street cheerfully. He looks around at the other ponies going about their business.

Doodle rapidly flew in zig sags all over the sky singing a happy song as if nothing bad could happen today! The sun was shining, the sun was reflecting off of the buildings singing rainbows in all directions! "HEHAHAHAHOOO!!!" She sang happily and swooped "OH MY GOOOOSH!!! OH MY GOOSH THIS CITY IS AMAZING YIIIII!! I'M SO HAPPY I'M HERE!!!" A random stallion glared from the street at this annoying little spotted mare and sneered as he continued along his way. Doodle clasped her muzzle shut with one hoof then quickly whipped it away when he was gone and shouted, "THIIIIIIS IS AWWWEESOMMMEEE!!" Barely able to contain her excitement!

Sunset curiously looked up at the wild Pegasus soaring above the skyline. He squinted to make out their features, but couldn't. He yelled up, "Can you keep it down to a dull roar, please?!"

Doodle heard the voice mid-sky dance and quickly looked around to try and find the voice. When she'd finally spotted the blue pony, she squealed in delight at the thought of making a new friend!! She then zoomed down to Sunset, landing directly in front of him cutting off his path and hopped around him. (If there wasn't a collision XD) "YIIII OH MY GOSH HI HI HI!!! MY NAME IS DOODLE BUG!! WHAT'S YOURS!! I'LL BET YOU'RE SO SUPER PSYCHED ABOUT LIVING IN THE BIIIIG CITY!! EVERY PONY ALWAYS AROUND YOU, ALWAYS WANTING TO..." She took a dramatic pause and threw her front hooves up into the air. "BREAK OUT INTO SONG!!" She said in a sing-songy voice while wearing her trade-mark smile!

Sunset jumped as she flew around him, screaming excitedly. He put her hoofs on her shoulders, and pushed her down, trying calm her down. "I don't mean to disillusion you, but I'm not very new here; I've been living in Manehattan for nearly 2 years. I appreciate that you like to welcome new ponies, but please save it for the ones that are actually NEW. My name is Sunset Streak, by the way."

Doodle just cocked her head sideways letting one ear droop down the burst out in a fit of giggles and said. "You silly pony! I'm greeting a new friend, not new to the town!! I'm new to this town, originally I'm from Ponyville!!" She held out her hoof to this new stallion waiting for him to take and shake it. "I know all about the fact you live here because you seem well like the well seasoned Pony!!" Doodle then burst into yet another fit of giggles and bounced around him excitedly wondering if this downy-frowny was going to stay unhappy. Well, if he was, she definitely wasn't going to let that happen!!

Sunset rolled his eyes, and smiled, shaking her hoof. "I see. In that case, I suppose I should be the one welcoming you. I've never been to Ponyville; what's it like there?"

Doodle's emerald green eyes widened as her face fell into the comical version of an overly dramatic startled expression, which she held for a few seconds before launching herself into the air excitedly bursting out. "*GASP* OH MY GOSH IT'S SO AMAZING AND THE PONIES ARE SO FRIENDLY AND AWESOME, minus the one pink pony but meh. ANYWAYS YOU SHOULD TOTALLY COME VISIT!! BUT OH NO, HOW COULD YOU EVER LEAVE THE BRIGHT LIGHTS OF THE BIG CITY?!? THEY'RE SO PRETTY!!" Doodle twirled in the air and set down beside him with a loud clack as her horseshoes hit the pavement.

"So, what's this city like?? Are there magical energies that do evil things where you fight off an evil building boss and conquer the city of the Ocean??" She said gliding up to the top of a flagpole a little ways up and standing in a dynamic pose with her hoof over her eyes. "Or, do you walk around throwing papers at one another like the ancient siege of the alphabet war??" She said jumping off of the now slightly bent flagpole, quickly glided up to a random letter sign above and did a front hoof stand on it!

Sunset stared blankly up at her, on the flagpole.
"Okay, you lost me. I do enjoy the lights of the city, but frankly, the thing I like best is the architecture," he trotted over to the sidewalk, and pointed at a skyscraper.
"Such as these buildings! These buildings are the tallest in Equestria! Besides, there's one more thing keeping me here, and that is my mare-friend, Blossom Hills." A kind of sad, wistful look overcame his features. "She's really not much for traveling, and I have to stay here for the time being to support her. I'm a writer you know," he said, flying up to her.
"Have you ever read my book 'Mares on the Water'?"

Upon hearing about the mare friend, Doodle Froze and stepped in front of him again with a surprised look that quickly shifted to an overjoyed squeal!! "Oh my gosh!! I have to meet her!! Das so romantic Oh my goooohs!!!" She said bouncing around him. "You know what? I'm gonna find her!! Back in a jiffy!!" She then spread her wings and zoomed off only to return seconds later. "I ... have no idea where I'm going! This city is like a Maaze!!" Doodle paused and waved a hoof over her face shifting her expression to a more determined one rather than a silly one. "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!"

"OR..." Sunset said, pulling her back, " if you want to meet her, you can fly home with me. I was headed that way anyways. But one condition!"

Doodle instantly calmed down, knowing this calm state wouldn't last for more than two minutes. She could just feel herself bubble with pent up energies that screamed excitement just waiting to explode! "Ok, ok, what's the condition!!" She said attempting to level her voice as well leaving her usual smile to chance.

Before he could respond, the door to a nearby apartment complex slammed open, revealing a pegasus made with midnight blue that looked very well kept, though it was clear that she had just gotten out of bed, due to her bedraggled blue and black mane "Who ever is making all that noise, KEEP IT DOWN! SOME OF US ARE TRYING-" She stopped mid sentence, the words dying in her throat, when she saw the other two pegasi who seemed to be arguing, she immediately trotted over, before smiling and speaking, though her sunglasses made it impossible to tell who she was speaking to "Hey, uh, you're pretty cute..."
