delicious snacks (open)

Fry was behind the counter of his little stall, right next to a fountain with a few benches. He flipped burgers and cleaned the counter while he was humming a bit and looking around the busy marketplace.

He looked up to the clear sky, seeing a few pegasi foals playing a game of tag in the clouds

"What a nice day" he thought to himself

"Hi there," Knick Knack called brightly, trotting up to the stall and eyeing off a freshly sizzling burger. "What can a hungry pony get around your parts for a couple of bits this afternoon?"

"Hello!" Well I have burgers, hotdogs and fries for 2 bits" He said smiling at her and flipping the burgers on his grill

"Ooh, I'll take a hot dog please." Knick Knack's horn glowed as her magic riffled through her saddlebags until she produced two of the golden coins. "Bit dusty, but they'll do," she murmured as they came to rest on the fry cook's counter. "I'm a salespony myself, scouting the scene for where I might like to open up in a few days... how long have you been in town?"

"Thats interresting" Fry said as he put the under the counter "I recently moved here but I travel between cloudsdale and ponyville regularly" he said "Would you like ketchup or mustard?"

"Neither, thanks." Knick Knack watched as the pony expertly began to finish up his cooking. "Always exciting, moving to a new place. Good luck."

"Thank you" He said handing her the hotdog "there you go. Bon appetite" He said smiling

Knick's horn glowed as she levitated the food over to her and took a bite. "I'm sure you'll do very well here," she said eventually, after she had finished the mouthful. "If Ponyville's a pleasant place to visit, I imagine living here will be even more fulfilling. Especially for a talented cook such as yourself."

"Oh thank you" He said "Im also looking forward on dating a handsome stallion some time" He sighed and smiled a little

Knick smiled in return as she finished amount her mouthful. Loitering by the stall in the sun was quite pleasant. "If you keep serving food like this you could charm anyone," she joked. "But good luck on that too. If it helps, Ponyville ponies are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered, so I'm sure they'd welcome you introducing yourself."

He smiled "Maybe I should check out the tavern some time" He said

Flying casually over the marketplace, a unique smell of cooking wafted through the air. Aero immediately scanned the ground to track the source of the scent. His eyes locked onto a new stall, standing out from the flat soil that had previously owned the space.

Feeling the hit of post-flight hunger, Aero circled toward the ground and landed smoothly beside the stall. Wordlessly, he stood at a distance, simply taking in the sight of the stall; the owner, the menu, and the structure of the stall itself.

Fry looked at him and smiled cleaning the counter and sorting some ingredients

"I haven't been to the tavern yet but from what I've seen it's a lively place..." Knick Knack paused and looked over her shoulder, smiling at the new arrival and moving slightly out of the way so the stallion could order.

(I suppose we should have Aero and Knick Knack would know each other, given we started the Wishing Well thread before this, eve if that hasn't finished yet).

"The tavern's a good place to meet folk and have a drink," Aero contributed to the conversation, stepping forward and addressing the cook. "I figured you must be new here. I don't think I've seen you around here before."

"Uh. Yes, Im Fried Crisp, or Fry for short. I moved here from cloudsdale recently" he said smiling

"Fry, this is Aero," Knick Knack said, taking the liberty of introducing him to the other pony. "And I'm Knick Knack, by the way. I can reccomend the hot dogs." She addressed the last phrase aside to Aero.

"Nice to meet a fellow pony from Cloudsdale," Aero remarked, smiling appreciatively at Knick Knack for the introduction.

The lingering smell of fresh food along with his rumbling stomach was a helpful reminder he was famished. Aero pulled out a few bits to pass to Fried Crisp.

"I'll take a hot dog then."

"Alright" He said taking a bag of buns from under the counter and placing a hotdog in it "would you like anything on it?"

Knick finished the last of her hot dog and sighed contentedly to herself as she watched the two ponies make their introductions.

((I'm guessing these are veggie hot dogs. Because, ya know, ponies and meat don't mix :P ))

"Ketchup," said Aero.

He was tempted just to take the hot dog bare and just eat. He hadn't realised quite how hungry he must be. Usually, a healthy meal was his preferred diet. There must be something about Fry's food - the smell perhaps? - that must be really hitting him.

"So is Ponyville your new spot? I don't know if it's the busiest place in Equestria to set up shop."

"Well I travel between cloudsdale and Ponyville regularly, Im often at the race track when there are events" He said putting ketchup on the hotdog and handing it him

"Are there often races there?" Knick Knack asked with interest. "Travelling to Cloudsdale has proven a bit beyond me thus far, as I'm sure you can guess."

Aero took his hot dog from Fry, nodding along to the conversation as he took a couple of bites. He had to admit, this was a tasty hot dog. He usually preferred more healthy food, but Fry was clearly in the right line of work.

"Definitely try to visit Cloudsdale if you can. Hot air balloon or cloud walking magic are the easiest ways," he suggested, "I can imagine you'd find a lot to explore up there. That or you can just visit the Cloudeseum to get some more good food from Fry."

"There are a few races there, Or there are a lot of ponies watching the Wonderbolts practice" He said
"I sell a lot there"
