The Parents of Bright Eyes

I thought it would be interesting to envision my characters’ families.

Gender:  Stallion
Species:  Unicorn
Appearance:  Pale blue coat and white hooves; Light blue eyes;  Blue mane;  Two-toned tail with gold and blue;  Brown-framed glasses.
Cutie Mark:  An open book with three light blue stars rising above it to signify his oritary skills and ability to give long lectures, speeches, and presentations.
Personality:  Serious in nature, but not stern or harsh;  Intellectual;  Assertive
History: Father of Bright Eyes, husband to Midnight Gazer.  He is a published author and retired professor who previously taught literature and writing, with emphasis on classical poetry, epics, pony history, old magic, and mythology.  He gave Bright Eyes his appreciation for the written word and story telling, and a lifelong love of learning.  Currently, he and his wife are missing from their home in Trottingham.

Gender:  Mare
Species:  Unicorn
Appearance:  Royal blue coat with a white muzzle;  Two-toned mane with swirls of light blue;  Green eyes.
Cutie Mark: A telescope with a silver star on the side to signify her work as an astronomer, and her love for science.
Personality:  Gentle and soft-spoken;  Intellectual;  
History: Mother of Bright Eyes, wife of Story Teller.  She is an accomplished scientist, having studied earth sciences, astronomy, psychology, biology, and, of course, magic.  She passed her love for exploration and curiosity down to her daughter.  Along with Story, her location is presently unknown.
