Out to shop (Open)

OOC: I really like Paxaro's background.
Mist tapped her chin nodding to the lady Pegasus and the Unicorn still thinking about the Gala. Wonder how long and when it's gonna start but getting all worked up about it won't help at all. "Well, aside from the whole incident, let's get a move on now." opening her wings lifting off the ground. "Oh! Sorry for not mentioning this but I forgot to ask you two your names." she chuckles nervously scratching the side of her head with her hoof. "The name's Mist Fragrance."

Starfire smiled at the mate, "names Starfire, ma'am. Nice to meet you Ms. Fragrance." His fiery mane snapped and crackled.

"Nice to meet you two, Makeover and Starfire." Mist smiled back at both of them. And, that's a good idea though. More helping hoofs will get the job completed fast or... something." waving her hoof left to right.
She then followed Makeover to a couple of stalls with flowers, but watching Makeover inspecting them. Doesn't look like she had interest on them. Mist just stared down still flapping her wings as they stretched out growing tired quickly but keeps up with the other two leaving the stall.

Mist's mind started to fog up thinking about this and that certain kind, ended up shaking her head when she heard the lady Pegasus and seeing her pick up a very sweet looking flower and looks too. "...This might the one you was looking for?"

[Considering it has been over a week since the last reply, I think we can skip a few turns?]

Makeover smiled as she inspected the flower in her hooves. "It has sweet aroma, excellent petals, and it seems durable enough - also, no thorns, which is a grand pro to the things I am looking for."
She held the flower closer to Mist to see. "Understand what I mean? I am no florist, but this sure seems like a perfect rose to me."

[I'm fine with that, btw]

Mist listened to Makeover inspecting the flower still ascending over the ground looking at it too. She was right - the wonderful aroma close to her nose like sweet vanilla cream in tea or some delicious cupcakes.
"Well, I can't disagree with that. It looks amazing and the aroma is lifting also. Like a tasty cake." she said smelling the flower again with a soft smile extending her hoof out carefully touching the petals.

Punky overheard Makeover. "Do you know if they're looking for musical entertainment. My band Broken Rainbows is looking for a gig.

[Punky, I guess you have not noticed, that the discussion has moved on from the Gala to other matters as well as the characters have moved on from stall to stall to search different things.
Also, we are waiting for replies from other players (which might not ever come), so I might suggest you start your introduction-play in the newbies-area - someone will most likely join there.]

[Considering there has still not been any word from Starfire or Paxaro, I guess it is okay to go on.]

"I'll take three of these ones, please." Makeover said to the salespony and digged the payment as the salespony wrapped three roses to a bouquet. "I need to check how tender they are or how quickly they'll wilt."
She payed for the roses, and took the neat package, then placing it in a basket. "What would be next..." she pondered, and eyed around the marketplace, in hopes of remembering her next goal. Overall, she had looked for all the stalls for certain flowers, maybe next she should be eyeing the wildflowers.

After Makeover bought those flowers, Mist ponder for a moment flying to some other stalls looking for something that'll matches the roses seeing some orange, yellow, red, periwinkle, and peach with white petals. Mist isn't really good on flowers or making good choices with matching things or whatever but it's worth a shot.
She carefully grabs the peach with white petals rose and red one seeing if one of them would fit well with Makeover's roses. They both looked good, the red one had a few thorns in the stem while the other one is clean, inspecting both flowers squinting her left eye in determined yet frustration too sighing angrily. "...Which one fits..? I'm not really sure.." muttering the same sentence over and over.

Mist blinks twice turning to Makeover and then the flowers slowly nodding her head arches her shoulders down dropping them down. "Alright then." she said placing the one with the 'non lesser thorns' down carefully gripping the other flower stem with her wing. "And, if you say so Miss Makeover."

She looked up at the shimmering sun beating down on both, taking off her glasses rubbing that now sudden sweaty forehead and eyes too. "Let's go somewhere to relax and cool ourselves down from this heat like that..- what was it again..? Ah, The Teas, Tonics and Tinctures place. I heard that they have good tea there. We should there, I'll buy. It'll be my treat. What do you say?" asking that lady Makeover.

[Considering there has STILL been no word from others, I firmly believe they are not going to return and this game can be played in normal pace, without waiting a week.]

Makeover was utterly surprised that somepony she had just met was eager to offer an afternoon tea. She looked at Mist Fragrance, and then smiled. "Dear, that would be lovely! But, I need to get these into water first." The bouquet of roses was raised and shaken a little.
Though, the beautician really craved for some ice tea with a drop of lemon, so she looked at the sun again. It was teatime and taking care of herself had always belonged to her personal philosophy.
"Tell you what, Mist Fragrance. I'll take these back to the Spa, and shall meet you later at the tea house, how would that sound?"

Mist winking to Makeover with a slight smile, glad to invite the Pegasus to a afternoon tea R&R even though she just met the mare. "Oh right, right. I gotta drop of my stuff back home too and get something else too..." buying a small bouquet of roses then turned around looking at the mare.

Flipping on her back staying in midair sighing in a delight manner wiping that hot forehead of hers from that sun thinking about some nice sweet iced tea and a hot tea for sleep. Although, she's only been here for a while - the Pegasus really don't know where the building is.. but she can find find it.

Bending her head back looking down at Makeover pumping her front leg. "That sounds good, Makeover."

"How about we meet again in an hour or so? The teahouse is around this marketplace, correct?" Makeover asked with a smile. She was afraid the roses would wilt in the afternoon heat, so she shaded the small bouquet with her wing. Unlike many other Pegasi, she was not too athletic and rarely used the wings to fly.

[How about we make a new thread in the teahouse? Should it be open for others to join or keep it private/invitation only?]

"Sounds good and oh, these are for you. If you didn't mind, I bought them for you." she replied back holding the bouquet out upside-down flipping her body back around fixing those glasses on giving it to the mare, getting her bags. "See ya in a hour, Makeover." waving goodbye and then flies back to her house.

"Very generous of you." Makeover said as she got the bouquet and shaded it as well as the one she had gotten herself. This new Pegasus seemed really nice personality, and Makeover was happy she had met Mist around shopping.
She took a look at the Clocktower, then hurrying over back to the Spa, so she could get the flowers in water.
