"Monday through Friday you can start at 9,and you can leave at 7:30,which is our closing time.Saturdays and Sundays we are not open."she said and put her bangs behind her ear.

"awesome, now that this little business is taken care of, i have one last request. i think it would be best that when i work normally with helping patents and stuff that i keep on a more relaxed, as i said earlier i can be obnoxious when i'm in my working habits. i was wondering if you would call me gem while working? that way its short, and not too formal." he said with a small grin on his face.

"alright,sounds perfect."she said with a grin and added "you can start anytime this week."

"alright, well if thats all, then i believe i must get going. i can start tomorrow if you don't mind. and with that" he gets up" i have a bit of shopping to do." he then starts to leave the house.

"Tomorrow will be fine."she said and stood up.

"i believe i saw a second hand shop on the way here. i'm going to pick up some clothes, in case i need it for later" he said leaving the house.

"okay."she called as he walked out.

*leaves area*

* gemini flys up and starts knocking on the door*

*Violet hovers over to the door and opens it* "yes?"she said as she opened it,and when she sees gemini she smiles and says."Oh hi,Gem,how about you come in and get started?"

"thank you, and good morning. i think today might be interesting, considering its my first day. now, whats the first thing you need me to do?" he says, entering the house.

"there's a kitten upstairs that needs to be weighed,measured and also it needs to have its ears and throat checked."she said handed him a name tag with his name and photo on it.

"ok, i'll get right on that. i'll assume the equipment is all set up for it?" i ask, walking up the stairs

"yes it's all on the desk."she called and started looking at a large dog that was sitting next to a hot pink pegasus pony.

"so exactly how are the pets actually up here? i thought only pegasi and other winged beings were able to stand on clouds?"i called from up stairs, starting my work.

"one of my old friends modified my house so that pets could stand up here."I called and started looking in the dog's ears.

"well, thats handy. did it cost alot?" i ask, measuring the cat, then getting scratched by it.

"It would,but he gave me a huge discount,because we're good friends."she called over the dog's barks.

"well, that was nice of him. how long have you been in this business before.!" gemini started calling over what sounded like a cat getting very annoyed.

"Well for about a year now,but as a foal I had many pets,and I knew how to heal them and stuff,and soon I got my cutie mark."she called and pointed her nose to her hot pink paw print cutie mark.

" i think i finished measuring the cat! its weight and throat seem normal, but i think it might have an ear infection." i say, walking down the stairs, claw marks and cuts on his front hooves.

"Alright I'll treat him,you can check sweetie's leg for any fractures."she said and pointed her nose at the dog then trotted up to the cat.

"i'd be careful. that cat is really irritated after me checking it's ears. i can only remind you that i 'think' its an ear infection, as i have less experience with animals then you." he said, moving towards the dog.

She looked into its ears,and dodged its paws when it swiped."Yes it's a mild ear infection."She said to the cat's owner which was sitting in a chair a couple feet away."I'll treat it then give you some medication to give to him when you get home."She added to the pony and looked through a pantry.

gemini started to feel the dogs leg, looking for fractures. "so, i think this dog has, maybe two here and here." he says, pointing to the areas. " so, is it just these two pets today, or are there more scheduled for later." gemini asked, curious of how busy the day will be.
