Mango let out a light laugh, like bells tinkling. "Oh, you don't have to flatter me," she joked.
When the file came in contact with her horn and Makeover started to file it down, Mango immediately had to bite her bottom lip to keep from bursting out laughing. A snort escaped through her nose instead, and she had to cover that up with her hoof as well. Mango had never felt so ticklish in her entire life! Shivers ran down her spine, and she finally couldn't keep it in anymore. Mango let out a loud laugh, and suddenly cut it short by covering up her mouth again.
"Sorry," she giggled.

Makeover took a break from tending the horn for a moment, so that Mango could have her giggle fit. "It's alright, luv." she said, smiling, "It tends to happen. Some unicorns are really ticklish with their horns, and pegasi are ticklish with their wings."

She applied a drop more of the oil to the soft cloth, soon continuing with the polishing.
Makeover was a little lost with her thoughts, wondering where earth ponies were especially ticklish... Maybe their hooves.

As the beautician finally got to the tip of the horn, she was ready to finish. "Well," she said, "that was easy. You are adorably easy to take care of." she said to the unicorn, smiling again. "Shall we look how the curls are doing, hmm?"

Mango once again smiled again at this comment. "Adorably easy to take care of?" A sudden memory popped up in her head--One day in early spring when she was much younger, before she had moved to Ponyville, it was so windy her mane became tangled beyond repair and her mother finally resorted to getting it cut after many hours spent trying to sort through the orange mess. Since then, she had been careful to keep her mane tied up on windy days. The memory brought a warm nostalgic feeling to her heart, and left her suddenly missing her hometown. Mango shook her head."You should have known me when I was younger; you would have never said that," she chuckled.

Makeover laughed, "Why, darling, one just needs the right tools to maintain tidiness."
She placed the cloth and oil away, then attending to the curls. Gently, Makeover started to move the rollers, revealing Mango's new corkscrew curls.

Mango sat in her chair as Makeover unrolled her mane, fidgeting slightly. It was hard to stay patient when something so exciting was happening! She felt the pink strands of her mane fall against her face as they were released from the rollers, bouncing slightly.
After all of her mane was free, Mango turned towards a mirror on the wall, and where she should have seen her reflection she saw a gorgeous unicorn with an effortlessly beautiful mane. The corkscrews gently folded against her face, redefining her lavender streaks, and with new self-esteem she realized she looked like a model.
"Wow." Mango turned this way and that, looking at herself from different angles. "This looks so beautiful!" she touched her mane with a filed hoof, and marveled at the strength and softness of it.

"Well, darling, it IS my special talent, after all!" Makeover laughed gently, but then added, "But surely, you really had an extremely good base to do my magics."
She took a hoof-held mirror and mirrored the back of Mango's head to be seen on the mirror on a wall.

"It came out extremely nice." she admitted herself, actually really pleased with the results herself. She took her time to admire the works of her hooves and give a happy sigh, what she usually did at moments like these.

The back of Mango's mane looked as beautiful as the front. It twisted and turned and fell perfectly against her tangerine neck, creating a beautiful effect.
"I cannot thank you enough for this," she continued, getting up out of the chair gingerly as to not mess up any of the mare's handiwork. She wondered if that was the last thing there was; it would have been terribly awkward if she had just gotten up and would have to to sit back down for more beautifying.
"I suppose that's it, then?" she asked, fixing a stray strand of her mane.

Makeover leaned on a table with all of her equipment and shrugged a little.
"I have really done everything I can, that does not include smearing clay and avocado paste on your pretty face or tossing you into a steam room." she said.

Mango smiled. "Well then, I guess if that's it, I would pay now?" she was still a bit clueless if Makeover had meant that she was about to put avocado on her face and put her in a sauna, or if she said she wasn't going to. "I... I think?" she quietly squeaked, still unsure what to do. She fiddled with her mane once again, then, suddenly remembering that she should probably leave it alone, dropped her newly manicured hoof to the ground.

"Sure thing, sweetheart, unless you want me to smear avocado on your face and toss you to the sauna?" Makeover said, with an interrogative tone in her voice to make sure if Mango wanted to have a facial treatment and relax in the sauna.
"It really depends on you, because I have noticed that the last two treatments make some ponies feel uneasy."

She looked at the unicorn from head to toe, pleased with the work she had done with such a little effort. Sometimes there actually was clients, who were not to be saved by her, since they already had their mind fixed on the ugly side - and that was truly sad.
"If you want my professional opinion, your complexion does not need facial treatments and sauna can just flatten your hair and make you feel a little sick."

"Oh, no, if you didn't intend to in the first place then I'll be alright." Mango smiled warmly. "And I wouldn't want to mess up this lovely work of yours so early, either." she gave a side glance to her pink corkscrews.
Mango began to stroll over to the cash register. "So how much would all that be together?" she asked. She didn't exactly know how expensive it would all be, so she had just brought a bag of bits. It'd be terrible if I end up not being able to pay for it! Oh, what would I do in that case...? Mango frowned, praying that she wouldn't end up in that spot. Not after all the kindness Makeover had shown her!
"Oh, and that shampoo you used? You wouldn't happen to know where I could get it, would you? Or do you sell it here, actually?"

Makeover beamed at the compliments, even if it was her job and duty. Ah well, it was also her pride and joy, so all positive feedback felt nice. It always did.
"I'll give you a first-timer discount, so it would be 35 bits." she then said, even willing to give credit, if Mango was short on cash.

She ambled to the desk where the register was, as Mango asked about the shampoo. She took a quick glance at the shelves of the products they sold, but it seemed that she was out of the exact product she had used.
"We HAD that shampoo in the shelf, but it seems we ran out of it just recently..." she admitted, then opening the drawers to write down a memo about getting more of the stuff. "However, there is set of small sample bottles for customers to try out at home, I could give you one of those, 'cause they are free."

Mango let out a relieved sigh, knowing she had brought more than enough. She reached into her saddlebag and fished out the correct amount, placing it on the counter. Dropping five extra bits into the tip jar, she smiled.
"I'd love to take a sample," she nodded. "It's really quite lovely," she said, taking an inhale of the flowery scents wafting from her mane.
