Another day in Cloudsdale...continued....

Torna lands beside the door, and then waits for the others to arrive. She is still thinking about the abandoned place, the place nagging her mind. Why, she wonders, why do I want to go there? Could there be some significant reason? Curiosity? An old memory, perhaps. Either way, Torna brought her mind back to waiting, and turned again to the sky.

Gemini glides down to land next to torna with a laugh, having gotten to sugar cube corner before fireseeker." Ever been to this place torna?" He asks curiously, letting out a small sigh as he waits.

Landing behind the others, Fireseeker flapped his wings a little to shake of the feeling of use in his muscles.

He looked up at the now familiar sight of the gingerbread style establishment. Even from outside, the scent of freshly baked goods was reaching him.

"I've got to stop coming here so often," Fireseeker muttered to himself, "I might gain weight."

Torna smirked hearing Fire a little, thinking up some things to say, then dismissing them. She answers gemini, "Yes, actually, it is kind of hard to miss, even if I have only been here for a year,"

"Well, that's good to hear. I think I've only been here once or twice since I've moved here." Gemini says, walking up and holding the door open for the other two pegasi to enter." Granted, I'm not much into sweets like everypony else, I guess."

Nodding his thanks to Gemini for his manners, Fireseeker entered Sugarcube Corner. In
front of him was the counter where a couple of ponies were being served, and around him the chair and tables were others sat, enjoying their purchases.

"It all looks so good," Fireseeker exclaimed, grinning as he admired the rows of cakes, buns, cupcakes, muffins and other delicious products.

Torna says "Thank you, Gemini", before entering and seeing the ponies all over. "It is kind of crowded", Torna says, remembering that she is, in fact, quite shy around crowds. Ironic considering this whole adventure, Cloudsdale, and the beginning in the town square.

Gemini nods to both of them as they thank him." No problem." He walks in behind the two, looking at the crowd." Hmm...Why don't we eat outside? You two tell me what you want, and I'll bring it right out, okay?"

"That's a good idea," Fireseeker said, nodding his head in agreement.

Scratching his chin with his hoof, he scanned the products one last time before making his decision.

"Think I'll have a blueberry muffin. What about you Torna?"

"I will have...." She pauses "maybe a......" She thinks, "I dunno, one or two chocolate cupcakes? I am not too hungry" Torna finishes, stating her small hunger, which is strange considering that she has flown to Cloudsdale and back, not to mention the race within Cloudsdale.

Gemini quickly memorises the two orders, quickly looking to see what he'd have before walking to the back of the line up at the counter." Got it, you two go find a spot for us somewhere outside then."

"Come on Torna."

Fireseeker lead the way back outside. The air was starting to cool as late afternoon approached, with a few clouds being gathered ready for what looked like a little overnight shower.

Spotting an empty table, Fireseeker went over and sat at it.

Torna follows Fireseeker, and she sits down. She looks at the sky with an expression of calmness at the sight of the rain clouds getting ready to drizzle, or maybe pour. She does not say a word during all of this, she just stares at the sky.

A few minutes later, gemini walks outside with a small bag. He looks around for torna and fire, walking over to them once he spots them." A blueberry muffin for fire, some chocolate cupcakes for torna, and a couple of red velvet cupcakes for me." He sits the bag down on the table as he takes a seat.

Just like Torna, Fireseeker was fixed into a stare, but instead his gaze was directed at her. She seemed to have drifted off into her own little world. He reached towards her and clapped his hooves together in front of her.

"Yo, Torna. Y'alright?" asked Fireseeker.

Torna then comes back into reality and, seeing the hooves, is tempted to do something silly, perhaps biting them would fit? She is hungry, afterall. She then sees the cupcakes and picks one up and takes a bite. She does this rather slowly, but not too slowly as to be very noticeable.

Gemini looks at torna curiously, then takes his red velvet cupcake and takes a big bite out of it." So, what are we going to do after this guys?"

Without hesitation, Fireseeker said in a deadpan expression, "Sleep."

He then chuckled at his own joke to show he wasn't serious before shrugging.

"No, but seriously, I don't really have anything planned. I could go back home unless either of you can think of anything to do."

"well we could fly around all of the world in a giant race, find the seaponies, invade the royal palace, go to-" She takes another bite and stops saying things.

"Well, as wonderful as those ideas are Torna, I don't think we have enough energy...or time, to do any of them." Gemini says with a laugh, eating another of his cupcakes.

Fireseeker joined with the laughter.

"I've gotta agree with Gemini there. Somehow I don't see me in a worldwide race, or on an epic quest for seaponies," he said, then jokingly added,"Although invading the royal palace sounds mighty tempting..."

Torna mumbles something through the mouthful, it is 'clearly' some strange remark about all the infiltration tactics to get in the castle, or all the research about where to find the seaponies,
"ay phick oo ur ing", which may be interpreted as anything

"Well, whatever that meant...Anyway, I think invading the palace is out of the question for today, considering how late it must be now..." Gemini looks at the suns position in the sky.

Almost as if responding to Gemini's comment, Fireseeker let out a yawn.

"Yeah, I've gotta admit, I'm pretty tired," he stated, stretching out his forelegs a little as he chew on the last of his muffin, "I wouldn't mind hitting the straw soon..."

She finishes her bite, "but I'm not even tired!" She then quickly shoves the rest of the cupcakes in her mouth and faceplants on the table.
