| It was early morning when Meteor Burst shot across the sky above Ponyville, leaving a bright trail in the air behind her. She looped around the town a few times, gradually slowing until she stopped being a fiery blur and could be identified as a dull lilac, red-maned pegasus. Her wings spread and acted as wind resistors as she swooped into a landing, softening her fall to a tolerable speed before her grey hooves clattered onto the road below. Ponyville Town Square-- perfect!
The golden-eyed pegasus began to explore this new place at a canter, wondering what places there were to see around here. Surely there must be something fun to do here, even if it was much smaller and quieter than Cloudsdale. And maybe she could make some new friends here, too! Meteor smiled softly to herself, shuffling her wings in the early morning chill.

| Dylgo was walking down the road admiring the view. normally, she'd be flying around, but her wing being broken meant she was grounded. Her thoughts were interrupted by a pegasus zooming by. interested in who it was, Dylgo followed this pony until she saw the pegasus landing. trotting over, Dylgo speaks up.
"Hi There! That was some nice flying back there. Are you new to Ponyville?"

| Meteor glanced up and smiled at the approaching pony, turning to face her. Oh, the poor dear appeared to have hurt her wing! Meteor would hate to be grounded by such an injury, as dependent on flight as she was. The grey-purple pony dipped her head in greeting and affirmation.
"Thank you! And yes, I am. I'm Meteor Burst, just flew in from Cloudsdale." She introduced herself, fluffing her wings out of subconscious habit.

| "Nice to meet you!" Dylgo said happily. "I'm Dylgo. The last time I was at Cloudsdale was for flight school. Nice place." She said, smiling. Dylgo flapped her good wing, remembering how much fun her time in Cloudsdale was. she'll have to visit once her wing recovers and she gets these bandages off. | |

| "It's a pleasure to meet you, Dylgo!" Meteor grinned pleasantly, rocking gently from side to side as was her habit when stood still. "It's nice enough there, but I've decided to travel! I'd like to see everything in Equestria, though I'll probably never manage." She shrugged lightly, short tail swishing.
"You mind me asking what happened to your wing?" Meteor asked, brow furrowing with a touch of concern. She could hardly imagine how much it hurt to break one's wing. Yee-ouch! She hoped that it healed well!

| "I was racing with another Pegasus out in the woods. The path got too small and my wing hit a tree. Luckily for me, the other pegasus was an amazing survivalist. He found food and shelter, he put a splint on my wing, he stood guard overnight while i slept, and he even flew me to the hospital with me on his back." Dylgo said. smiling. "It doesn't help that I can be a bit clumsy." she says giggling. She flapped her good wing again when she mentioned him flying her to the hospital. riding on the back of another pegasus was an entirely different experience from flying. | |

| "Oh, ouch! Good thing you had someone looking out for you!" Meteor winced and shuddered sympathetically, her own wings drawing in tighter to her body. "I hope it gets better quickly!" She ment it earnestly; she knew that many pegasi felt despondent and listless if they couldn't fly for whatever reason.
"So! Do you live here? What's to see or do around here, ey?" She asked, a little brighter and more cheerful. Plenty of people lived in and moved to Ponyville, so there must be plenty to occupy oneself with about town! Maybe there were cute shops to peruse, or things to see, or games to play?

| "Thank you, I hope it does too." she said, smiling. "yeah, I live with a friend of mine. she specializes in making various things. There's also Cafes, Taverns, The Library, and Sugarcube Corner. There's also a clearing out in Whitetail Wood that is great for reading. I'll have to show you sometime."
Dylgo couldn't wait for the day her wing recovered. she was itching to get in the sky again. not to mention the chance to feel a cloud under her hooves again.

| "Okay, cool! Sugarcube Corner, you say? Is that some sort of sweet shop?" Meteor asked, head tilted. She loved a good sweet shop, having grown up helping out in her mother's store. Some were kind of dodgy or lame, but a good, high-quality collection of candies couldn't be beaten, in her opinion.
"I dunno if you got the chance when you were last in Cloudsdale, did you ever visit Lovely Lollies? It's the sweet shop my mum runs!" Meteor asked the red mare conversationally. Her mum made the best sweets in all of Equestria (though her opinion may have been slightly biased), and Meteor loved to introduce people to the confectionaries that Bubblegum Pop crafted.

| "Yup!" She exclaimed happily. "One of the best around!" Dylgo pondered the name of the place and searched her memory. "I don't think I did. But I'll be sure to stop by the next time I go!" Dylgo says, smiling.
