A new pony in town.

Clearskies stepped of the train from Manehatten. She dragged her light blue suitcase towards the town. The scent of freshly baked goods wafted over from a pink building, and instantly Clearskies realized how hungry she was. Maybe she could go get a few snacks and meet some new friends, at the same time! She hurried towards the pink building.

And so it was that Fireseeker found himself back at the train station. He wasn't here to travel or to meet anypony, just to collect a package from the mail service; a file containing history about ancient pony history. He'd had to request the reference from Canterlot itself, as he needed to use it for detail in his novel.

Placing the thick folder in his saddlebag, he exited the station. As he left, a white pegasus mare trotted past him, carrying a suitcase. His attention almost left her when he spotted something very surprising. Her cutie mark. It looked incredibly similar to his own.

Fireseeker stood there with a dumbfounded expression on his face, staring at her flank.

Clearskies looked behind her on her way to the bakery, and noticed one pony was staring at her. Curiosity overwhelmed her hunger and she trotted back towards him.

"Ummm.... Hello, I'm new in town, can you please show me around?" She asked.

To his further surprise, the pegasus suddenly turned to look at Fireseeker before heading towards him.

Blushing a little at being caught in an embarrassing situation, he glanced away briefly to compose himself before speaking.

"Urm, yeah, sure thing. Anywhere in particular you'd like to know where to find?"

"Um... I'm kinda hungry, do you know any place I could get some lunch?" Clearskies asked. "By the way, I'm Clearskies, who are you?"

"I'm Fireseeker," he replied with a little grin. "As for lunch, Sugarcube Corner is probably the best bakery in town. It's just down the road there."

Fireseeker lifted his hoof and gestured to the largely pink, gingerbread-looking building in view.

"Okay!" Clearskies begun to trot over to Sugarcube corner.
