New Home, New life

Music Chaser looks around the town square, anxious, excited, and everything in between. He sets his saddle bag down swiftly and takes a moment to absorb the new surrounding. "Wow, this is gonna be awesome" he says to himself, not caring if anypony around him were listening.

As Iris was flying out to town from her house, she heard a black pegasus talking to himself.
"Wow, this is gonna be awesome."
"Uh, hey. what's gonna be awesome?" she asked as she landed.

Music Chaser jumped, startled by the pony, "oh, well, i just moved here, i was just talking to myself, names Music Chaser by the way" he says with a big smile on his face, picking up his saddle bag.

"Nice to meetcha Music Chaser. I'm Iridescent, but you can call me Iris. Where'd ya move here from?" Iris asked as she blew her mane out of her face.

"nice meeting you too Iris, i moved here from Cloudsdale, had a bit of a family issue so i left, traveled a bit, and finally i'm settling down here" he says chuckling a bit.

"Oh, you're a traveler too? I went everywhere before I found Ponyville. I'll probably start travelling again, but today is not that day!" Iris said cheerfully, remembering her childhood up in Cloudsdale. "So, whaddia think?" she asked as she added a flourishing movement of her hooves, as if showcasing the town.

"really love it here, i mean, i'm gonna travel again, thats for sure, but for now, this is my home, anyway, how long you been here?" he asks curiously smiling his friendly smile.

"Well, I've been here for about a year and a half. I love it here. It's beautiful and wonderful. The ponies are so nice here!" she said excitedly. "So, uh, where ya headin'?"

"you know? i have no idea, just got here so.." he says stumped and clueless about where to go, glancing around the town square.

"How 'bout we go to Sugarcube corner? We could talk more there and eat cupcakes!" Iris said excitedly. She hoped he would say yes.

"sure, sounds like fun, don't know where that is though, remember, i'm new here" Music says cheerfully, hoping she would guide the way.

"Right, bad memory." Iris replied with a grin. "It's this way." she said, pointing in the bakery's direction. She began trotting towards the shop and stepped up to the front door. She waited for Music to catch up.

"Hmm..." Mister Lionheart hums as he is walking along inside the bakery shop. "Let's see, I only have a few bits... So I guess I'll have a banana nut muffin." As the waiter puts the bits into the cashier, while bagging the muffin, Lionheart looks around. He finds that a pegasus is walking toward the shop. Grabbing his now bagged muffin, He walks over to this new pony. "Oh, hello!" He says, putting the muffin to the floor. "I don't meen to intrude, or anything. I'm just wondering around, trying to make some new friends and familiar faces."

Music Chaser catches up and smiles widely at Iris, "wow you move very quickly!" he says chuckling to himself. He almost didn't notice the pony that had stopped by Iris, with a nice little bag smiling, "i don't mean to intrude, or anything. I'm just wondering around, trying to make some new friends and familiar faces", the pony says with clarity, "Well, hi, Names Music Chaser, you new around here? cause i am" Music says chuckling to himself once again.

Iris smiled at the Pegasus as he set down his bag an introduced himself. Iris was about I respond when Music Chaser finally caught up to her, then introduced himself to the Pegasus. Iris laughed and then said "hi there, I'm Iridescent, just call me Iris though." She smiled and walked around him up to the counter and order strawberry cupcakes. "Whaddia want Music?" She said, then, without waiting for an answer, turning to the other Pegasus an asking "what did you get? You're welcome to join us as we eat."
She dropped a few bits on the counter and waited for her cupcakes.

Mister Lionheart chuckles himself. "Yes, I am quite new here. To be honest with you, I've only moved in three days ago." He sighs as he shakes his head. "Anyway, Nice to meet you, Music Chaser. I hope we are friends in the future."
Finally, the other pony starts to speak. "Hi there, I'm Iridescent, just call me Iris though."
Mister Lionheart simply nods. "Nice to meet you too, Iris-- Oh, Where's my manners. I almost forgot to mention my name!" He shakes his head again. "My name is Mister Lionheart. Nice to meet you both."
Right after saying something to Music Chaser, Iris replies," What did you get? You're welcome to join us as we eat."
Mister Lionheart opens the bag with his hooves, letting Iris look at the contents. "Oh, Just some exotic music from across the seas. Nothing much... And Sure. I'll hang around a bit longer." He chuckles, Then moves the bag to where Iris was.

"Hi there, i'm Irisdescent, just call me Iris though." she said introducing herself smiling

"Nice to meet you too, Iris-- oh, where's my manners. I almost forgot to mention my name!" "My name is Mister Lionheart. Nice to meet you both." Lionheart says responding back

"Whaddia want Music? Iris asked Music after there introductions were over.

Music Chaser smiles, already making two friends, and looks at Mister Lionheart, "Well, its a pleasure to meet you as well" he says smiling, "oh and it doesn't matter, i'll just get a cupcake" Music says responding to Iris' question smiling widely.

"Ok, if you're sure." Iris said to Music, he turned to the pony working the counter asked for two cherry cupcakes. She dropped three bits on the counter and leaned against the glass casing showcasing treats. She chuckled and pointed to an empty table for Music and Mister Lionhart to sit at while she got the treats.

Mister Lionheart Picks up his bag and moves to the Table. He takes his seat. 'Thanks,' He says, and sits patiently, bag at the side of his chair.

Mister Lionheart curses himself in his mind, as he almost forgot the bagged muffin. He then grabs the muffin, and proceeds to eat it.

"so what you plan on doing here Mister Lionheart?" Music Chaser ask smiling widely waiting for the cupcakes Iris ordered, "oh and thanks for the cupcake Iris"

Iris nodded as Music said thanks. The countermare walked over and gave Iris the delicious looking treats. She picked up the plate and brought it over to the table. She plopped down in the vacant seat and placed one in front of Music. Then she hungrily devoured her own.

Music Chaser walks up to Mister Lionheart. "So what you plan on doing here Mister Lionheart?"

"Just gathering friends... Adventuring." Mister Lionheart replies, Going back to his muffin. "... How about you?"
