Here's some I've done already/Examples (Sorry for bad quality pictures and I spilled orange soda on them Dx):

Mane [Style and Colour]: Raven black, tyed in a thick braid with Luna's forelock and two curls around her ear (not super curly, mind you)
Tail [Style and Colour]: Raven black, straight and uniform
Eyes: Slanted like an Asian's (that's what she is), deep crimson
Other Appearance Details: She wears complicated armor as seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/98227637@N03/9175582125/ She also wears a gold amulet on a red ribbon around her neck. It has this inscribed on it: 사파이어 어두운 밤 (it doesn't have to be there)
Pose: Anything uniform and military. No emotion on her face whatsoever.

Mane [Style and Colour]: It's a light pinkish-maroonish colour. It is neck-length, with bangs that go down till her eyelashes. Her mane has a bit of an outward curl at the end.
Tail [Style and Colour]:It's the same colour as her mane, and it is straight with an outward curl at the end. It goes down until the end of her tail is almost touching the floor.
Eyes: They are a dark purple, and her eyelashes are much like Rainbowdash's in the sense that they are very basic and not curled or anything like that.
Other Appearance Details: Her cutie mark is a hammer (if you needed to know that), and it would be superfantasticallyamazing if you could draw her with a hard hat on.

Tail [Style and Colour]: It is short, with the same dark brown colour, except with no highlights. It's not as curly.

Other Appearance Details: He has a sash in his mane that he wears. He also carries a small gray shoulderbag. He also doesn't have one of his hind legs, one of them is replaced by a lute.
Pose: Whatever you like :)
