Hopefully some races

Shadow Jet is walking down the road towards Ponyville thinking if there are any good racers in the town and if thy would race him or not

A grey pegasus pony is walking down the street in Ponyville when he hears another pony walking down the road and turns to him.

"Hello there." He says, looking in Shadow's direction. "Who might you be?"

Shadow Jet looks at the pegasus that approached him and says "I am Shadow Jet. And wo might you be?"

"My name is Loco Paper." he pauses for a moment, cocking his head. "I don't recognize your voice or name. Are you new here?"

Shadow Jet nods "Yep Iam new here where ever here is." Shadow Jetlooks at the sky guaging the time left in the day

"This is Ponyville. We're about a day train ride from Canterlot and the castle." Motioning in the general direction of Canterlot. "Any reason why you're here, if I may ask?"

"Just looking for some fellow pegasi racers and if they are good enough I will probably stay."

"Well, look no further. I'm both a pegasus and I like to think of myself as a racer. Well, when I'm not writing." He says, proudly. "I love feeling the wind in my mane." running his hoof through his messy hair.

"Good to know already found one racer well then my new friend how about we go get a few rounds at the local tavern for racing?"

"That sounds good. I'll show you the way. Luckily I've got the way there memorized." As he turns around and starts walking, other ponies on the street walking around him.

"So, where are you from, Shadow?"

"I really don't remember to tell you the truth." He says catching up wih Loco "All I remember is that there were mostly only pegasi and earth ponies no horned earth ponies and that is was very secluded."

"Well, if there were earth ponies, it wasn't Cloudsdale. Other than that, I wouldn't know." as he continues walking, weaving in and out of streets. "Can I ask what you look like? I know you're a pegasus, since you told me, but what else can you tell me?"

"Well I have gray mane and tail hair with a streak of black through it I have silver eyes and the rest of my hair is white. I usually wear a vest with four pockets and shades while my cutie mark is a pair of goggles."

"Thank you. That's very helpful." Loco's mane is white on top and black past the ears, with gray fur, dark red and dark blue tail and wings, and a scroll with two quills crossed behind it for a cutie mark. His eyes are green-yellow and glazed over. "Well, we're here at the tavern." Opening the door to the tavern.

Shadow Jet walks in flicking his head upwards so the shades are on his head and not covering his eyes and he says "Why don't we get ourselves something to drink Loco?"

(Well, Since y'all are heading to a Tavern... Can I join this thread?)

"That sounds like a plan to me." as he follows Shadow inside the bar.

There are several other ponies in there, but it's not too crowded given that it's fairly early.

"Let's find us some seats at the bar."

Jet grins and sits over and the bar his plan was to drink to a merry life so he orders the strongest drink they have

"Alright, and what would you like sir?"
Lemon Tie looked at the stallion who had not ordered a drink yet. She could tell that he was at least partially blind. He looked strange but she wasn't one to judge.

"I think I'll just have some hard cider for now." he says, sitting next to Jet. "Got an iron stomach, and more importantly iron liver, don't ya, Jet?"

Jet nods his head "More or less. You can say that Loco."

Lemon giggled at the two, how silly. She made and gave them their drinks, then she smiled. "haven't seen you two 'round here before, ya'll new here?"

Jet ales the the drink "Thanks." He down shakes his hed and looks up "Yep I am quite new here just got here actually."

Loco takes a swig from his cider. "No, this is one of my favorite taverns around. Thank you for the drink, by the way. I probably just haven't been here during one of your shifts yet."
