Hybrids and Creatures and Races – Oh my!

Do you have an OC, or maybe just an idea for an OC, of a race that hasn't canonically appeared in the show,but is potentially really cool? Even just a non-standard that would be considered too OP for this forum? This is a little place to put them up for others to see.

I'll be putting up two of my personal favourites soon – little ideas I've had on the backburner for a Karkadann and a Kelpie.

Some other examples would be different kinds of changelings (I've seen art for those around), hybrids such as hippogriffs or fishponies, the fairy equivalent in Equestria, Dragon/pony crosses, ponies with odd types of magic that aren't canonically accepted, cyberponies/modern AU's, whatever you like.

This isn't really ideal, as we can only comment on each others by making a new reply in the same thread, but if the Mods do decide to add a section for AU OC's then maybe I can talk to them about a section/pinned thread there for this – but for now, we can pop them up here.
