It was a pretty sunny day, which was normally not his favorite kind of day, but a cool breeze was sweeping in and making it much more pleasant to be
outside!

The unicorn stallion yawned wide as he trotted along the street, a saddle bag filled nearly to bursting with materials and fabric samples slung over his back. He was just leaving his favorite place to shop for materials for his plush toys that he sold at his own shop on the other side of town, and he was eager to return home to begin working on a new idea he'd sketched up the night before, a griffon sewn in a way as to mimic actual feathers!The day had been wholly uneventful, as most days were, and he was looking forward to settling down in his workshop for a long night of cutting and sewing!

He was lost in his thoughts and admittedly not paying attention as he should be, an almost dreamy look on the sleepy stallions face as he pondered the ideas he had for new crafts, should anypony be going the opposite direction of him, there would surely be a chance of him colliding with them.

Blown Speaker, who had was talking a walk around Canterlot before his show that night, was absorbed in his music, like he always was when he wears his headphones, and did not notice that another stallion was heading his way. This lead to him accidentally crashing into the other stallion and put his mind back into reality.

" Whoa, sorry about that." Speaker said, as he got up and recovered his music player, " I didn't see you there."

[Sorry this took forever ;o; I was away!]

It would take a while, but maybe if I cut every feather individually, that would work!

He was deep in thought as he made his way down the sidewalk, to absorbed in his own thoughts to notice the other stallion heading his way until it was too late. He let out a startled gasp as they collided, immediately broken from his thoughts as he found himself on the ground, "Oh...Oh my!" He looked around, momentarily stunned until he noticed the other pony speaking to him, picking himself off the ground and using his magic to gather his things, smiling kindly, "Oh no no nonsense, it was my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going, too lost in my own world I suppose."

He looked over at the stallion and gave him a friendly smile, "Oh, I don't believe I've seen you around!" He didn't know a lot of ponies personally, but he recognized faces fairly well, this one was new! He smiled and held a hoof out, "You can call me Sleepy!" He looked a bit embarassed a moment, "I hope your music player wasn't damaged!" If it was he would surely reimburse the stallion for the damages! After all it was mostly his fault if it was!

"Oh, it will be alright, my player has gone through worse,"he said before relizing Sleepy's earlier comment "and I'm not really new here, this is my 16th show in Canterlot."

Sleepy's eyes widened with interest, show? Was he a performer? He smiled and looked at him with a curious gaze, giving voice to his question, "Are you a performer?" He chuckled and looked impressed, "That must be fun, I could never get up in front of all those other ponies!" He could barely handle when his shop got busy!

He smiled and quirked his head, "Where do you do your performances? He knew of a few of the clubs around Canterlot, even though he'd never ventured to them, he could hear the booming music inside sometimes as he walked at night.

"Im not really a preformer, Im a DJ, and my preformance is going to be at the castle." Speaker said, a bit proud of the fact that he managed to get this show.

Sleepy couldn't help but get an amazed look when he mentioned his show being at the castle, "Wooow! That's really amazing!" He'd never been there himself, but the castle had always fascinated him with its appearance alone! He smiled and nodded, "Well congrats on getting to perform at such an amazing place! I bet it'll be unforgettable!"

"Yes it will, especially, since it for a royal birthday." Speaker said, a bit exictedly.
