a new workshop [open]

Metal just has done some work in the storage room.. "Whew! thats done, now i can open up the shop, i hope there will be any customers today!" he said excited.

A pair of saddlebags were attached to her back, and Leafy walked silently through the streets of Ponyville. As she approached one building - a workshop she had heard about - she knowcked tentatively on the door, waiting for it to be answered.

When he came out of the storage room, Metal heard someone knocking at the door. As he opened it, he saw a mare standing in front of him.
He looked at her with a smile:"Greetings madam, sorry to keep you waiting.. what can i do for you today?"

Leafy nodded in acknowledgement, nudging open her saddlebag and pulling out a pocketwatch. For the most part, it seemed completely normal, though its glass was slightly cracked, and its hands showed that it was half past three. "You're an engineer, correct? I recently broke this watch, and I'd like it repaired."

Metal looked closely at the watch.. "Fascinating!" ... "Okay i think i can do this, but it will take a little while." ... "Shall i bring it to you when its done?"

"Sorry.. im new to Ponyville and i dont know most of the ponies here"
"Can you tell me your name?"

With a shrug, Leaf Gardens looked over the watch. It had never seemed like anything fascinating to her,but then, an expert would know better. "My name is Leaf Gardens," she replied, "though most just call me Leafy. And you're... Metalember or something? I'm not good with names..."

"My name is Metal Spark.. but you can call me Metal".
"Hmmm... Leaf Gardens.. somehow this name sounds familiar to me"..

"Really?'" She raised an eyebrow; 'Leaf Gardens' wasn't wasn't exactly a common name. (For that matter, who knew how she'd gained her name. Did her family look at her and think 'Hey, she looks like she'd be a gardener'?) "Were you in Ponyville before? I don't actually travel much, save for a few visits to Canterlot and one time to Manehattan."

"hmm.. Oh! Now i remember, when i worked at a shop in Manehatten, there was a young mare with about the same name."

"however, ive never been to ponyville before i just arrived a few weeks ago, but my mother told me that she was born here."

Leafy nodded. The vacation was too short to be memorable, beyond a few fleeting memories of the more exciting parts, so she was uncertain whether that pony was her. The description - 'young mare' - would fit, but there were also a thousand other young mares in th world. "Well, I hope you enjoy your stay here."

Metal starts smiling
"Thank you...im really starting to like this place, its much more peacefull than Manehattan."

She smiled briefly. "Yes, that's one of the best things about Ponyville. It really seems like nothing happens here... and when problems do crop up, chances are that the same six ponies will solve it each time."

Metal looked at Leaf with an excited smile: "So uhm.. where do you live? Do you have a house here in Ponyville? or a shop? I wanna know!"

She nodded. "I live in Ponyville, yes, though I don't own a shop. I don't think my house is far from here. Just around ten minutes' walk."
