A nice morning

It was a nice sunday morning in ponyville when Metal woke up as the first one.. he noticed Starflower was cuddling him and he didnt want to wake her up so he got out of the bed very carefully.. he checked Star Sparks room, but she was still sleeping, so he went down to the kitchen to get the coffee and breakfast ready

Starflower smelled the coffee as she woke up. She wanted some family time, and she knew Spark would fight. She trotted sleepily to Spark's room, and went into wake her. "Honey, wake up."

"Wake me up when it's Saturday..." Spark mumbled.

"Wake up." Starflower gently shook her daughter.

"Mom! I want sleep." Spark said, burying her head under her pillow.

"Oh, get up." Star pulled the blanket off the bed, bringing Spark with.

"MOM!" Spark yelled.

A chase commenced.

Metal just levitated the coffee pot on the table as he heard Spark yelling Oh, look who woke up.. he thought

Walking in, Spark was soaked to the core. She was definitely annoyed. Stupid bathtub always filled with water.

Her mother on the other hoof, was giggling as she walked in. "Morning, Metal." she said, her coat and mane and tail soaked as well.

"Good morning, my two favourite ponies" he said with a smile

"Mornin'... she mumbled, shaking most of the water off.

"Ive got the breakfast ready" he said, taking a seat

"Yummy!" Starflower said.

"Yawn Yay."

Metal gave Starflower a small kiss and ruffled the mane of his daughter
"My workshop is closed today, I think we should have some family time" he said, smiling at his wife

If it weren't for her mane being ruffled and her father suggesting family time, Spark would have fallen asleep on her breakfast. "I can't wait... YAWN

"Still tired huh?" Metal giggled

Spark nodded, being half awake.

"I have a few days off and I think we should do something together" Metal looked at his wife "How about a trip, honey?"

"Sure sweetie. To where?" she asked.

"Maybe Canterlot? We never been there" Metal said

"What about the Crystal Empire? Ms. Sunrise is teaching us about the science about the crystal ponies coats." Spark suggested.

"Either sounds wonderful to me."

"Crystal empire sounds nice" Metal said, nuzzling her wife

Sparkie was more awake now, much more like herself. "Yay! When can we go?!" she asked.

"How about tomorrow?" Metal suggested

"Sound's good to me." Starflower agreed.

"I'LL START PACKING!!!" Spark said, running off to her room.

"Wow, looks like she's excited" Metal giggled

Star nodded and giggled. She was more energetic than before, for sure. "I'll say."

Metal gave Star a kiss "So what should we do today?"

"Get ready for the trip?" she said. When she walked past him, she brushed her tail past his muzzle.

"Oh, right!" Metal giggled
