Arriving [open]

Iron moved from Manehattan to ponyville. Looking for some new friends
"Wow, what a quiet little village.. now I know why my brother wanted to go here"

Sparkie did a flip in the air as she trotted home with Flutter. "You gotta teach me some archery, Ms. Flutter!" she begged.

"I told you, you silly filly. I only teach if the mother and father allow it. We must ask Metal and Star first, alright?" the unicorn smiled.

"M'kay. I guess that makes sense." she said, as she saw a gray pegasus mare with a blue mane. She dashed up to her, as the mare fit the description of her Aunt Iron Spark. "Hi! Welcome to Ponyville, ma'am. I'm Star Spark." she said beaming at the yellow eyes of the pegasus before her.

"Star Spark! You must stop dashing off with no real reason." Flutter said, getting slightly annoyed at the foal's antics. She looked at the gray mare and made her introduction. "Pleasure to meet you, miss. I'm Flutter Shot, this filly's foal-sitter."

"Im Iron Spark, nice to meet ya too.. I just moved here from Manehattan" she said extending a hoof to Flutter Shot
"Did I hear the name Metal over there?.."

"Yeah, my dad. Mom and Dad work SUPER hard, but I'm kinda good at both. Dad's full name is Metal Spark, and mom's is Starflower. I'm the first of both lines to not be born in Manehatten, funny, right?" the filly leaped onto Iron's back.

"Her father is an expert metal and iron worker. Her mother an expert botanist." Flutter elaborated.

Iron smiled "I'm Metal's big sister" she said "I havent seen him in years"
She looked at the filly "Your... Dad? But that means..."

"Your brother must have been the charmer." Flutter giggled. "They meet, and the next day, they're together. Ah, true love is very fickle, as fickle as the hoof of fate that twins us all." she said in a dramatic way, a hoof to her forehead.

"Aunt Flutter." the filly giggled. "So you're my Aunt Iron! WOW! You look really cool! Mom's gonna be so happy! And Aunt Rose is gonna be happy, too! And dad... HE'LL BE SUPER DUPER HAPPY!!!" she did a flip on the last sentence, before starting to drag Iron towards her house.

"I cant wait to see Metal again" she said

Back at the household, Starflower was making lunch. As Metal walked into the kitchen, she nuzzled him. "Tough today?" she asked.

Metal nuzzled back "Yes, you?"
"Where's Sparkie?" he asked as he opened the fridge to drink something

"With Flutter. I had a small delivery." she said, starting on the dishes.

"That means were all alone" Metal said, hugging her back

"Could I at least set down the dishes before we start back up like this?" she said, a small blush on her muzzle. They heard the thud of the door an the call of their filly.

"MOM! DAD! DAD, DAD, Dad, Mom, Mom..." she said panting. "I met somepony! And she is AWESOME!" Spark said.

"Who did you meet?" Metal asked

"Aunt Spark!" she pulled her aunt out a bit.

"Little brother!" Iron called
"No...way..." Metal gasped as he saw his sister
They hugged each other "Iron! Its been years!"
"Too long" she said

Starflower froze before Rose pushed her forward. "M-Metal told me all about you, Iron Spark. I'm Starflower."

"Youre his wife right? Nice to meet you" she said, extending a hoof

Starflower took the hoof. "Y-Y-Yes, I am." she said, her manehatten accent very clear.

Metal lays his hoof over Starflowers back "Why did you come to Ponyville Iron?"
"Well, the flower shop wasnt going so good.. and I was looking for some new friends
Iron picked up Star Spark "Awww.. I cant believe Im an aunt now, were gonna have so much fun!"

Rose chuckled a bit. There were two major flower shops, one always pairing up with the local metal shop. Her mother's flower store happened to be that one, but they never really held up well. "My name's Rose Storm. Nice to meet my sister-in-law." she said.

"Nice to meet you too.. well Im going out for a walk now because I havent seen all of Ponyville" she said

Sparky dragged Iron out. She started blabbing about many random facts.

"Wow, you really know much about this place"
She said, smiling at her

"Being born in a place does that to ya." Sparkie joked.

Bucky wandered slowly down the street, his head lowered. Occasionally he would glance up to make sure he wasn't going to run into anypony but most of the time his gaze was locked on the ground. 

Today was one of those rare days where he felt well enough to go outside during the day. He probably wasn't going to talk to anypony, but at least he was out and about. That was a good sign; he was making progress.

Then the sounds of ponies talking met his ears, above the gentle thump of his guitar against his back. The voices sounded like a mare and a foal, from what he could tell. The pegasus stallion raised his head a little to check, indeed spotting a gray mare and a pink foal, probably a filly.

If he could see them, then they could see him. And they both looked pretty friendly too, so that meant he had to talk.

With a heavy sigh, he dropped his gaze again and anxiously waited for the conversation that was most likely going to be directed in his direction soon.
