"...and that building over there?" she pointed to a building with a bell. "That's the school house." she said. She saw a blue pegasus colt, staring at the ground and dashed over, dragging her aunt with. She stared at him, cheeks puffed.

"U-uhm Hi! Im Iron Spark" she said as she saw the blue stallion, she extended a hoof

Bucky flinched at the greeting, yellow eyes fixing on the extended hoof before he abruptly sat down on his haunches, his wings slowly unfolding. He ducked his head again, murmuring a quiet "Hi..." before nervously looking back at the ground. He was too anxious to return the hoofshake and ended up seeming rather rude.

"Hiya." Spark said, not as energetic. She was getting annoyed now, the colt was too much of a downer.

Iron looked inside his eyes "uhm.. Is everything alright?"

He swallowed hard, glancing up at Iron through his shaggy bangs. The stallion could hear the exasperation in the filly's voice and it made him flush with embarrassment. It wasn't his fault he was depressed, he couldn't help it, why did she have to get upset about it? 

Bucky cleared his throat awkwardly, realizing he actually had to respond this time. "I...I'm fine. Everything's f-fine." he spluttered, scooting backwards a bit. They were too close for comfort.

Gideon flew down into Ponyville, landing in the town square and checking his messenger bag. "Let's see... I've got a letter for the mayor.. And orders to get to know some ponies." The tyto griffon mumbled to himself before clasping the leather bag shut and walking toward the town center.
