Misty's entrance into Ponyville - open

Misty Quill walked a few steps into Ponyville, and paused for a moment. A breeze blew through her wild mane and tail as she took in the view. Different kinds of ponies (earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi) were walking and talking by the thatched houses and flowery gardens. She passed over a bridge, taking in the view. It was all very different from what she'd seen on her travels. Misty took a look around, seeing various ponies going through their everyday lives, and wondered who to speak to.

Mint Berry walked through the park, holding a few roses wrapped in a piece of paper, she smiled and hummed a happy tune while walking

Misty's ears flicked, and she turned to see a beige unicorn with a mint green and red mane and tail walking close by. She smiled a little smile. She had a sudden idea and levitated her little pipe to her mouth. A few quiet notes came out, drifting with the breeze.

Mint stopped and looked at the mare standing infront of her, smiling widely "Hello!, Im Mint Berry.. are you new to Ponyville? Ive never seen you before"

Smiling, Misty Quill lowered the pipe and put it back in her satchel. Hi. Yes, I'm new here ... looking for a home. It's nice to meet you, Mint Berry." She smiled, holding a hoof out.

Mint shook her hoof and smiled "I have a flower shop here in Ponyville, I sell berries too"

Misty Quill's eyes glimmered with interest. "What kind of berries?" She hadn't eaten very much for breakfast, and was a bit hungry. "So you run a flower shop." She pointed at her cutie mark. "I'm a storyteller primarily, and a writer by trade. I also play the pipe, as you probably heard."

"I sell all different kinds of berries, you should try my blueberry pancakes.. My friends love them" she said
Mint smiled and looked at her "A writer? Wow! What kinda stories? Adventure? Romance? Oh I love romance books"

"Oh, I mostly do adventure and fantasy books. I'm kinda ..." She blushed. "...Not very good at romance stories because ... I haven't really experienced love in that way yet." Her blush deepened a little. Misty took a few deep breaths before changing the subject. "I don't suppose ... you have any blueberry pancakes with you at the moment?" She half-smiled as her stomach rumbled and she looked down at the ground.

"You said you need a place to sleep right?" sge asked

The brown unicorn nodded, "Yes." She cocked an eyebrow, smiling. "You wouldn't happen to know a place where I can stay for a bit?"

"I live in an apartment over my shop, you can sleep at my place if you want" Mint offered, smiling at her

"That's jolly nice of you, Mint", Misty Quill said. "Ok, I accept. You're a really friendly pony." She looked around at Ponyville. "Where exactly is your shop, by the way?"

"Aww, thank you! My shop is in the Marketplace, come on I show you" she said, grabbing Misty's hoof and walking to the marketplace

"Okay", Misty allowed her new acquaintance to lead her to the flower shop. On the way, she looked around at the scenery.

They arrived at the flower shop and Mint opened the door "Here we are"

Misty sniffed as she entered the shop, taking in the different scents. Blueberries, all kinds of flowers and friendliness. She turned around and looked at Mint. "This place is nice, it reminds me of nature and flower gardens."

"Mmmm, that would be nice." Misty's tummy growled again. "I like the idea of that."

Mint walked outside into her garden
It had a few gravel walkways, fruit trees on the sides, lots of flowers and a big fountain in the middle of it.

Misty walked slowly down one of the walkways, sniffing flowers as she passed them. "You have a very extensive range of flowers here", she idly remarked. The unicorn paused as she saw some blueberry bushes. "And fruit too. That reminds me, it's almost lunchtime."

"Okay! Lets go upstairs" Mint said, going back inside and walking upstairs

The little bell connected to the door of the shop that rang whenever somepony came in let out a few frantic tolls as the door was kicked open by an orange mare. "YO, BERRY!" she hollered as she made her entrance, pausing momentarily to sniff at some flowers. "I got some bits and a super-special order for ya, wherever you are!"

If Carpe had known that the pony in question was currently occupied with somepony else, she certainly wouldn't have barged in like that. Oh well, there was nothing she could do about it now.

The writer smiled and followed her new friend back inside. "Okay, Mint." She was about to folllow Mint Berry upstairs when the shop bell rang and a strange pony crashed through the door. Misty Quill jumped in surprise and folded her ears back a little, not knowing quite how to handle this loud pony. "She's upstairs, I think." Misty lifted her head and called to Mint. "Somepony's just crashed through the door, looking for you."

Mint looked back and went back downstairs, seeing Carpe at the door "Hello! How can I help you?"
