When Sprinkle gets bored.

Early in the morning, Sprinkle Fuzz woke up, ate breakfast, and decided to go find someone to play with because he was bored. The small colt flew around to everyone in town square, asking "Do YOU wanna play with me?", waiting for someone to say yes. After about 2 minutes of flying around, asking people to play, he stopped flying and started slowly wandering around with his mane and tail dragging across the ground while pouting, because nobody wanted to play with him. He would still ask people to play with him, but he wasn't nearly as hyper and happy.

Shala groaned in annoyance as she was asked by the pegasus to go and play. She had gotten out of the hospital not more than a day ago and without being allowed to work, she found her time rather bland. Going for a simple walk was the best she could do. But being asked to go play was totally not her thing. It clashed with her Zen.

"No." She said, facing the pony. Her horn was still in a heavy cast with supports and a ring around it to keep he from doing anything magical that could hurt. The doctor didn't really trust her so much when he told her no magic. Maybe it was the angry stare.

Sprinkle Fuzz was a little excited that somebody finally actually replied, even though she refused. He replied "Awww, why nooootttt?". Sprinkle Fuzz started following Shala as he talked, to see if he could try to persuade her into playing with him.

Shala groaned and shook her head. "Because...I don't want to. I don't 'play' and i have a horn that hurts like crazy right now."

As if to remedy it, she took out a flask from her mane and began to drink from it.

As Shala was talking, he had just noticed that she was all wrapped up in a cast. "Ohh, what happened to you? Did you fall down some stairs? Ooh, ooh, or did you get in a fight? Or maybe you ran into something really hard!" he said in a loud voice as he kept on following her.

Shala winced and groaned very audibly. This was not the time for this foalish nonsense. She dearly wished for this pony to leave her alone. Especially with the trouble going on lately.

"Yeah, it was a fight. Because some pony annoyed me too much." She blurted out before moving on in hopes that he would stop following.

As soon as Shala spoke, Sprinkles face lit up. "Wooaaahhhh, coooool!!! Did you win? Did you? I bet you were like, WHAM! And hit him with a chair! Ooh, or you were like, BOOM! As you cracked him in the face with your hind legs!" he exclaimed with so much excitement as he kept following her.

Shala groaned out very loudly. Very fed up with this kid. "Listen kid, don't you have some friends or family to go hang out with or something? I'm kind of busy."

Sprinkle Fuzz suddenly wasn't as excited. He replied "Well, i dont really have any friends. And my parents are annoyed by me, so i dont really have anyone to play with, so i have to ask random people.". "By the way? Whats your name?" He asked with a puzzled look.

Shala wanted to kick something. Not only was this kid annoying but now she had struck a bad chord with him. It panged some inner guilt in her. This pony was reminding her of some of her own previous childhood. It was a time she wanted to forget. There was no place for it now. Not here.

"I'll tell you if you leave me alone. The name is Shala Woods."

Sprinkle let out a big sigh and said "Okay... Bye miss Shala...". Sprinkle started slowly walking towards his house with a big frown on his face pouting. As he was about to close the door, he turned around and looked at Shala. From then on, Shala was almost like a role model to Sprinkle. He thought it was so cool that she beat up a pony. He looked forward to seeing her again sometime.

Shala waited patiently for a few moments, watching him leave. That last look he gave her worried her. It wasn't until he was about to close the door that she spoke.

".....So...You going to tell me your name or be 'that other pony' that i don't know?"

Sprinkle Fuzz opened the door up a little more and said "Im Sprinkle Fuzz." and then slowly closed the door.

She watched him close the door in an almost eerie manner. Once it clicked, she shook her head and immediately resumed her walk.

"Kids...."
