as usual, gemini is bored.

gemini walked through the town square, sighing as he sat down on a bench. looking at the fountain, he starts to wonder about what to do for the rest of the day. all his friends were busy, or he couldn't find them, so he decided the town square might be a good place to relax. instead, he just ended up more bored as he looked up at the sky, lazily watching the weather pegasi putting clouds in place.

SummerRain once again found herself in Ponyville, she enjoyed the little town it was peaceful and its residents were kind. As she lowered her altitude Rain found herself above town square it seemed practical enough to land, her large blue eyes searched for a clear area and once she found it she doped down to it. Landing with a light thump the pony folded her wings and adjusted the black bag on her back it felt alot lighter then usual most likely because it was empty or near so.

"Ahh" Rain sighed slightlysittign herself down on a near by bench taking no notice to the pony Gemini next to her clearly her head was still in the clouds.

gemini looks over at the mare who sat down next to him." good day. i'm gemini." he greets the other pony with a small, polite bow." it's a very nice day today, isn't it?" he asked, hoping to make some small talk with the pony to cure himself a bit of his boredom."so, you look new. have you been here long or just passing through?"

The little pony could not help but to jumo when the voice reached her ears, with a quick turn of her head she looked at the colt. Before she had time to even think of what to say the colt began to comment on the weather and the fact she was a new face to the town. At first her instinct was to flee but then she decided that would just be plane rude eh was clearly just trying to spike up a conversation.

"ummm I ehh," Rain was having trouble finding the words in her small little voice "Ill be hear for a few weeks...ehh maybe." she coughed slightly giving her cyan mane a quick sake "Sorry for eh...disturbing you."

gemini laughs a bit to himself when she tried to apologize." no no, it's okay. i was bored anyway. i can't find any of my friends and i have nothing to do. so...how old are you anyway? you seem like a young adult, i think....but you also seem...smaller. sorry if i'm being rude by asking, but...it's actually got me a bit confused." he admits somewhat embarrassed at having to ask.

Shifting slightly Rain allowed her gaze to drop to her hooves, she was used to the question really being a bit on the smaller size she was normally mistaken for being a much younger pony. "Im a young adult," she whispered slightly her ears twitching. "I take after my mother she was on the smaller side as wel.......umm whats your name?" she asked quietly "Im SummerRain."

"well, as i said earlier, my name is gemini." he says in a polite tone."so, what brings you here? and if i'm making you uncomfortable by talking to you, i can move to a different bench if you want." he added the last part in to make sure he wasn't being rude.

Rain opened her mouth allowing a small squeak to escape it, how in the world did she miss him giving her his name. Clearly she was frazzled maybe it was all the traveling she did to get back to the cute little town? "No no don't go!" she blurted out quickly, sure she was a shy pony but she would never ask someone to leave after all what if he needed help. "Im here just stopping by for a few weeks." she cleared her throat once more "I travel around helping whom ever needs helped, and bringing rain to areas that don't have weather ponies." Rain laughed softly starting to feel a little more at ease.

gemini looks a bit surprised at the outburst, then looks a bit cheerful." okay. so you help ponies then? that is really cool. i just work as an assistant to a vet here, and i plan on travelling around once in a while. you know, to see the rest of equestria. it's a big world, and i think sitting around in one spot might be a bit of a waste when there is so much more to learn and do. so, what types of areas do you normally travel to?"

"I work in smaller towns, I tend to avoid the city....to many people," Rain shuttered at the thought of walking the busy streets, she had grown up in one and frankly she didn't really enjoy it she needed the open space and the clean air that only the country side could offer. "I would suggest seeing the world, there are so many things to see and ponies to meet." she paused a sort of smile crossing her face "Just be sure to bring plenty of supplies." with a sort of laugh she motioned to her seemingly empty bag.

"oh? need some help finding supplies here?" gemini asked, mentally sighing at the fact he had no bits on him at the moment." so, you like being around less ponies as opposed to more? that's cool. i tend to enjoy any company i can get, really. i like to help other ponies a bit, but when i was younger i read a lot. so, i can't say i was very sociable as a young colt."

Rain decided the pony she was talking to really was a nice fellow, the conversation was not a strained one it had a nice even flow to it. Sure he was asking her questions but they wernt ones she felt uncomfortable being asked. "I was always a bit of an outcast gowing up, my shyness got in the way of meeting new ponies so I to was a bit more into book," Dipping her head slightly she motioned twoards the square "I know my way around here but I wouldn't mind some company, even the shy ones get lonely."

"sure. everypony gets lonely. growing up, i had my twin sister to hang out with. and eleven other siblings besides her, but i wasn't really close with the rest of them. so, what about you? have any siblings?" gemini asked, hoping summer didn't ask about his family."and you can tell me if you don't want to answer any questions, i'll understand."

The little pony tipped her head to the side "I was an only child growing up," she commented giving her large eyes a quick bat. "If you dont mind em asking how did your family handle so many children?" she was curious her aunt had a hard enough keeping her in line let alone anyone else.

"well..." gemini starts to think about his childhood, somewhat reluctant to bring it up." we were more worried about family honour and such. we were all...well, most of us, i should say, were fairly good and didn't cause trouble." he responds, sighing a bit mentally at memories the conversation brought up." how about you?"

Quillon is trotting through the town square, still feeling a little sore from the train journey. As he
crosses the square. he sees a familiar navy pegasus talking to a diminuitive grey pony. He stops, a mad grin appearing on his face. He tenses, bends his legs, hurls himself across the square and tackles him to the ground in a bearhug., "Gemmers! Bro! It's been so long! I was away in Neighles and my cousin was there and he said hi and the was a big red dragon and a crab bit my leg and-"
