A New face

Its a normal Day in ponyville and
Mint Berry sat on a bench near the fountains, doodling something on her notepad while humming a soft tune she looked at a few ponies walking by and waved to a few she knew.
She liked being outside and the smell of all the flowers in ponyville

Choco Latte trotted leisurely down the street, occasionally greeting ponies that waved to him. Most of them were customers of his, some were friends. As the earth pony stallion wandered by the fountain, a mare that had a coat almost as light as his caught his eye. He moved closer to the bench where she was sitting, glancing over her shoulder to see what she was doodling.

"Oh wow, that's really good!" he found himself exclaiming. He then realized that he had crept up on her and had probably just scared her half to death. "Oh jeez, so sorry for coming up behind you, that wasn't too nice of me...!" Mint Berry noticed an unfamiliar voice comming from behind her back. She turned her head and gently smiled at him "Oh hello its fine thank you Im Not that good but I doodle sometimes. Im Mint Berry "

Choco smiled warmly back and took a seat next to her, extending a hoof. "Nice to meet ya, Mint. I'm Choco Latte, don'tcha know, but you can call me Choco if you want!"

"Ooohh, a flower shop? How nice!" Choco laughed softly, internally surprised that she hadn't yet asked where he was from. Nearly every pony he'd ever met had. Maybe she was just too polite. "I own a shop in the marketplace myself," he continued, grinning at her. "It's a coffee shop! Oh, you should come by some time, eh? I serve hot chocolate too, if you don't fancy coffee!"

"I would love to come over, Choco" She said, smiling warmly. "Im from Canterlot. Where are you from? You arent from Ponyville, right?"

Oop, there it was. Choco beamed, tilting his head slightly to one side. "Aw, great, can't wait to have you over! And yeah, you're right, I'm not from here. I'm actually from Whinnyapolis, ya know, waaaay up north, haha! But that's enough about me, goodness...You said you're from Canterlot, yeah? I've never been, sure, but I've heard it's very nice!"

"Yeah, a lot of fancy and polite ponies live there" she said, looking at him. "so, maybe wanna go to my shop?"

Choco nodded happily, grinning back at her with a flick of his tail. "Oh, sure, you betcha! I love flowers!"

Mint giggled and trotted down the marketplace, opening the door of her shop and walking inside
