Day off

Metal had a day off and was heading to the Tavern. He sat down at the bar counter and ordered a drink while he looked at all the other ponies talking and drinking

An energetic mare with a midnight blue coat bounced out of the DJ booth as the song ended, and shot over to the bar, landing in a seat next to Metal Spark. Dreamscape had never been this far from Manehatten since she was a foal...it was so quite in ponyville.

Metal gave her a little smile as he took a sip of his drink and looked at the few ponies sitting at the bar

Dreamscape ordered several shots of just about everything they had, before turning to speak to the stallion next to her "Hellllllllo~! My name is Dreamscape, what's yours?" She smiled softly.

"Im Metal Spark" He said looking at his glass for a moment, then looking at her

She was shorter than most mares, but also more curvy, in a good way. Her mane was spiky and some of it's locks were dyed black, her coat was a dark blue like the midnight sky, and her eyes were the same cerulean colour that filled the sky during the day. "Hey, you seem kinda sad. What's wrong?" She cocked her head to the side.

"Well me and my wife split up recently" He said sighing quietly and looking at his glass

Dreamscape gasped, her eyes going wide "Oh..I...I-I'm sorry I d-didn't realize.." She felt like trash. No, she WAS trash. She had came over here in the hopes of maybe taking a stallion that cared about her and not just her plot home, but hadn't even considered what might be going on in her life. Celestia might as well just smite her on the spot and send her to tartarus.

Metal looked at her "Hey, Its okay I think Ill be over it" He said "I went to the tavern to meet a few new ponies after all that"

She just hung her head, quietly speaking "I doubt I'm the kinda pony you wanna meet. I mean ,I came over here to try an take ya home..." she weakly laughed "I'm a terrible pony..."

He smiled "You are not, your personality has something I really like" He said "Did anyone ever tell you that youre a real beauty?" He said with a decent smile on his lips

She then turned into a tomato, figuratively of course, and she timidly looked back up at him, unsure of what to say. She spoke slightly louder, stuttering a bit "Um, no, n-not unless th-they were after my p-plot..."

Metal smiled and looked her in the eyes "Well you can be sure that Im honest"

She smiled a little "Hey, uh, I gotta go back to the booth in a sec...but I'll play a song for you, ya?"

"Sorry, I gotta go back to my shop, but If you want to talk, Im there" Metal gave her a card with the adress and went outside

"I...I should...I should be an idiot for once!" She cheered as she rushed out the door to catch up to him "Uhm, may I accompany you along your way?"

"Sure" He smiled going down the street to his workshop. "Do you live here?"

"I uh...in my tour buss..." She blushed an looked away, slightly embarrassed by the fact that she lived out of her tour buss.

"Oh, thats interresting, so you travel much?" He said, opening the door as a young filly came up to him "Hey daddy" "Hey Star, you should be sleeping" "I cant really sleep" she said as she looked at the Mare that was with him

"By Celestia's beard, she's adorable!" Dreamscape squealed as she knelt down to the filly's level "Mostly around Manehatten, this is the first time I've been out of the city in years."

Star backed off a bit and looked at her "W-who are you? she asked

"I am Dreamscape, and who are you?" She smiled sweetly, extending her wings to hug the young mare.

"I-Im Star Spark" she said. Metal looked at them "well lets go upstairs" he said as he walked upstairs into his apartment where he sat down on a couch

"Hm, Star, I might have something to help you sleep." Dreamscape smiled as she spoke. She was always good with music, why not use it to help a filly sleep?

"Really?" she said, looking at her and smiling
