Day off

Metal stared blankly for a moment before giving her a tight hug "Thats wonderful baby!" He said smiling very happily

"W-We've been together for b-barely three days! Wh-What if this d-d-doesn't w-work out?!" She sobbed into his chest.

"I will do everything possible for us to be happy baby" Metal said nuzzling her mane and hugging her

She slowly stopped crying, and just snuggled into him. She nuzzled his chest, sleepily mumbling "You....eed'a..'edding...ring..." She then passed out

Metal smiled and nodded lightly, then put his arm around her and let her sleep

Later, Dreamscape began to stretch in her sleep. But as she stretched out her wings, they pushed against the back of the couch. This resulted in her falling onto the floor.

Metal helped her up "Hey, dont hurt yourself, baby" He said as he sat her back on the couch

She huffed, but snuggled into him "It's not like I meant to." She looked down for a second "I'm scared Metal..."

Metal nuzzled her mane and put his arms around her "Why are you scared, babe?" He said, leaning back with her

"I'm a party mare, an alcoholic, and I'm addicted to drugs. And I'm going to have a foal...I'm not ready. What if I'm a terrible mom? What if-" she chocked up before she could finish, but it was clear where she was going.

"Now cheer up, Im here to help you" Metal said kissing her cheek

She smiled and nuzzled into his chest "O-Okay..."

He smiled, gently kissing her cheek while hugging

"I wonder how Star will take the news..." She hummed in thought

"Im sure she'll be okay with it" Metal said "Didnt we plan to go to the sugarcube corner yesterday?" Metal smiled

"Should we tell her now or later? And yes we did." She looked up at him

"Better we tell her when its more visible" Metal said, getting up "Lets go then"

She smiled and followed after him "Sooo, what're we doing?"

"Just going to sugarcube to eat" Metal said while they went down the street

"What kinda food do the have?". She asked as she draped one of her wings over Metal's back.

"They have mostly sweet things like cake" Metal said, walking closely next to her

"Hmmmm, I'll let you pick for me." She nuzzled into his neck as they walked

"Okay" They entered and sat down, Metal looked at the menu

Dreamscape made quiet popping sounds, and played with her hooves while she waited for him to pick something.

"Would some cheesecake be okay for you?" Metal said, putting the menu down
