310 to Appleloosa

Iron Dreams slowly trotted into Appleloosa, and through it's dusty streets. The usually busy frontier town was strangely silent as noon fast approached. He narrowed his eyes, and scanned the buildings, something wasn't right. He continued on his was through the streets, until he came across the main road.  He stepped up into the road, as the noon bell rang. This was the day...he could feel it in his gut.

Andromeda appeared in the center of Appleloosa's main street, blinking and looking around as she processed just what in Tartarus happened. "Nyx! When I get my hooves on you you're dead!" She shouted and stamped her hooves. She stopped when she felt the presence of someone else in the near vicinity, turning to see a familiar looking stallion. Oh great, she probably looked like some lunatic.

Iron tilted his head to the side in confusions, before he recognized the mare. "Andromeda..? What are you doing here..?" At least she'd buy him some time.

Andy looked at the stallion, narrowing her eyes as she tried to place the face. "...Iron Dreams? Is that really you?" She asked, fully turning to face him.

He chuckled a bit ""So ya do remember me, huh? Been awhile, ain't it?" He smiled faintly, at least he'd get to see her one last time before high noon. He'd never told, and probably never would tell anyone that he'd had long time crush on her, and still did.

"Of course I remember you, you tutored me in level 3 cantription spells," She said, smiling at him some... old feelings resurfacing before frowning. "What about you, what are you doing here?"

"Huh? Don't tell me you've never heard of the Aplleloosian Devil?" He smiled a bit more as he referenced the name he'd been given, and was most commonly know by. He heard they were making movies about him in Manehatten.

"...Sorry but I haven't... Model work doesn't exactly leave much down time," She said with a slightly embarrassed laugh and blush.

He laughed a bit. "Ah'm the most feared outlaw in all of Appleloosa. Most folks 'er more scared ah me 'an Jessie Reins." He said as he slowly walked closer to Andy.

Andy giggled and rolled her eyes. "Riiight... You? Scary?" She asked with a smile.

He hung his head a bit, and frowned. "Ah've...done a lot'ta bad things Andy...killed a lot'ta good ponies..." He never was one for lying, so it'd be better to get it out there so she could hate him.

"Well? Do you feel bad about what you did?" She asked, stepping towards him.

Andy stopped when she was just barely a foot away to look up into his face. "You're right, it wouldn't change anything but still, you feel a little remorse, I can feel that," She said softly.

He smiled sadly. "Ah, ah gotta tell ya somethin' Andy...ah should'a told ya a long time ahgo." He stopped when their muzzles were inches appart.

Andy sighed and gave him a slightly annoyed look before beating him to the punch and giving him a kiss. Sappy confessions weren't exactly her thing.

Iron laughed a little as he kissed back, Andy never was very patient. He slowly pulled back, his eyes filled with sorrow. "Y'all should get outt'a 'ere Andy...It ain't gonna be pretteh." He looked over her shoulder, to see the sheriff's posse approaching.

Andy smiled back and turned to look at the Sheriff, frowning. "Seriously? Well now I'm not leaving without you," She said.

"Ya got to Andy. This how mah story ends...if ah run they'll jus' find meh again. Ah love ya." He gently kissed her before walking past her, to meet the sheriff and his gang in the midway.

"But..." She started, interrupted by the kiss. Andromeda turned and watched him go, feeling conflicted about him just going doing this.

"Sorry, Andy..." He slung both his guns out of their holsters, and thunder filled the air for a short few moments. When the magical smoke cleared, only one stallion was left standing.

Andy jumped and winced at the loud sound, looking back up as the smoke started to clear. "Iron? She asked softly, slowly walking over.

His voice was laced with pain, as he staggered toward her "A-Andy..." His body had several arrow head sized holes in it, that were slowly leaking blood.

Andy quickened her steps, starting a healing spell. "It's okay Iron, I've got you," She said softly, moving to help support him.

He dropped on of his guns, and allowed his hat to fall to the ground. "N-Never mind 'at. Get us out'ta 'ere. Might trick 'em tah think Ah'm dead."
