Out on a Walk

Violet had her mind set on getting a nice,big apple pie,but she had already spent all her money on dog treats for her new patient.She walked around the town square,starting to get used to the sights,smells,and noise.She soon came across a little shop and looked in through the sparkly window.Apple pie,cherry pie,strawberry pie,all of her favorite pies lined up in the window.She sighed and kept on walking.

gemini comes around the corner, looks at the same shop, then shrugs and continues on. he was looking for a place to earn some bits for gear to continue exploring, but because he couldn't bake, he ignored the shop. looking around, he spots a mare looking down and decided to ask what had her upset."so why the long face?" he asks.

"Me?Oh it just seems I never have the time or money for myself anymore."She answered and sighed."I'm Violet by the way.Who might you be?"She asked and brushed her mane with her hoof.

"im gemini, and trust me when i say i know that feeling. im looking for a job to earn some bits, would you have any suggestions?" Gemini replies, while still looking around at all the buildings and ponies in the townsquare.

Violet smiled"Well yeah,but you have to tell me what you want in a job first."She answered and looked around her.

"well, thats a good question. back in my old town, my family was nobility. so i was taught the basics in stuff like running businesses and things like manners. i suppose i could say the best i can do here is odd jobs." he says, not looking violet in the eye.

"Maybe you could help me with my business."She answered and looked at the sky,the clouds were darkening,indicating that a small storm was coming.

"well, what type of business do you do?" looking up he also notices the small storm coming."well, i suppose at the moment it doesn't matter. but if you don't have alot of money for yourself, are you sure you can afford to hire me? i don't want to be taking money out of your pocket, especially if you can't afford it for yourself."

"It's just that I'm new here."She answered."Once I land on my hooves I'll have more money.Maybe we should talk more about this indoors.Would you like to come to my house?"She asked and fixed her saddle,which had a bag full of dog treats in it.

"sure, but how long have you been here? and do you know where i can find some travelling gear? i can't seem to find any shops for it around here." gemini said, growing more distracted on the clouds, with a puzzled look on his face.

"About two weeks,but I'm still getting used to it.Traveling gear?Oh,I have some barely used gear in my garage,if you want them."She answered and added "Also if you want something I don't have,there is a shop that sells things like that near my house."

"ok, thanks. is it just me, or is the pegasus making the clouds doing so pretty fast? if so we should probably go sooner or later." gemini says with a little concern showing.

"Alright."She said and lifted off the ground,her large, feathery wings flapping gracefully.((OOC: I'm going to create a topic in Cloudsdale houses,k?))

gemini starts to follow, but avoids the clouds still forming in the sky for fear of getting in the way.((ok))

still following violet, he notices a vendor selling candy. he walks up and buys 6 pieces. "this should hold me over till supper."

Violet nodded and walked up to a small post that was selling maps and bought one for Gemini "Here."she said with a smile and handed it to him.

"thanks, heres the bits it cost. i'll have to study it later. as for now," he eats a candy" i've got groceries i have to help get!" he strikes a goofy super hero pose.

She giggled and walked into the grocery store and picked up a basket.

following, gemini starts to follow, when a larger stallion knocks him down by accident. gemini " hey, watch where your going buddy, someone could get hurt."

She turned and looked at the two stallions."everyone okay?"she asked and helped Gemini up.

"yeah, he just bumped into me. if it was a fight or anything, i could have taken him." puffs up his chest comically. other stallion gets up, and gemini hides behind violet. the other stallion walks away.

"who was that?"she asked and chuckled a bit.Scrappy bounced around energetically.
