"More out of the way. I have a spot." He said as he closed his book, tapping it three times before tucking it away. "Come with me." Stormy stood, pushing the door open in the same motion and trotting outside down the main street till he stopped for the barber shop, often stopping in case the colt was lagging behind him, or was even behind him at all.

Stormy didn't see to be at all bothered by how Smith Wesson had revealed his information. This made him relax further, comfortable in his assumption that Stormy was not the violent type. Far from it. So far he had come across as a young, eager, somewhat over-energetic colt. He almost seemed out of place in the West...

Wordlessly, Wesson followed Stormy, keeping up with his pace.

Seeing he was he grinned, trotting happily along as lead the colt from the town, down the way next to the train track and turned to have the Red Mactinosh facing his back. The wind blew less harshly, giving the place of quiet that was unheard in town with exception to night. "This seems more a proper setting." He wore a grin as he sat, removing his book and tapping three times. "So let's hear it."

Smith Wesson stood beside Stormy, taking off his stetson with a hoof to reveal the rest of his mustard yellow mane. He wiped his brow with his hoof and replaced his headgear before speaking.

"Well, from what Ah gathered, your Pa, Silver Spur, was part of some gang of mercenaries or somethin'. The unicorn that came between ya? His name's Sureshot. His Neighponese, Ah think. He and your Pa ran together, with a load of others, though it seemed like they both had quite a history of violence before then. Robbery, bombs, slaving, murder, you name it."

"Now, apparently, your Pa thought to up and go at a bad time to become a samu-something or other, to "restore honour." That left the others in a bad spot, though Sureshot seemed to make it out of trouble."

Wesson took a moment to look around them as a slight breeze drifted by. When it passed, he continued.

"That's what Ah know about their past. As for where they are? Ah saw 'em both in the bar just in town not the other day. My guess is they're still in Appleloosa..."

Stormy wore a grin, wider then a face should be able to hold. His father was far too much like him. What a fun dream to become a samurai. Stormy would have to brush up Japony history. "Well. That's all interesting info." He traced his hoof in the dirt a moment before lifting it up. "I was already knowing my father was a monster of that sorts. However the samuri part is new. Also you have given me a name. SureShot."

Stormy stood suddenly, as if life had been poured into him. "I do think that shall be all I need to know. Though I suppose I should aid you in a way to help your job hunting." He removed a old, worn business card. "Should you ever come across a colt by the name of Bounty. Give him this and say the favor is pasted to you. He was a Bounty Hunter once upon a time. He is a useful ally in your line of work."

Wesson took the card, inspecting it briefly before he tucked it away into his waistcoat.

"Thanks, Ah could do with an ally," he said, genuinely appreciating the gesture.

Despite everything going perfectly smoothly, Smith Wesson couldn't help but feel something ominous hanging in the air. Stormy seemed too bright and cheerful in comparison to Silver Spur and Sureshot.

Slightly uncomfortable at the thought of them associating, Wesson spoke.

"Look kid, these are dangerous stallions you're lookin' for. Even if he is your Pa, Celestia only knows how many terrible things he and Sureshot have done. If Ah was you, Ah'd steer clear of the both of 'em."

Stormy grinned at the colt as he said this and stood, sipping the dirt from his backside. "Truly you are a rare sight in this world Mr.Wesson." He said with his ever whimsical and smooth, flowing like reading from a book. "However I never been one to turn back when I saw a 'keep out' sign or when the water looks too deep."

Stormy itched his goatee as he pondered something, but quickly seem to cast the thought aside. "Also I sadly am unable to go away. Regardless of how much of a monster he is, or the group he runs with. He is still family. I didn't abandoned Gale till his last moment. So I shall not abandoned SilverSpur." Stormy's face returned a small smile. "Are meeting was brief and formal, but I enjoyed this Smith. Perhaps fate with throw in some mess together someday." He turned, facing the dipping sun with a grin before trotting off.

(If you don't have anything planned with Smith. I could make a thread as Bounty and we could rp some more.)

"No doubt it will," replied Wesson, watching Stormy walk away.

Although he personally felt the colt was making a poor decision, Smith Wesson didn't have the right to tell him what to do. All he could hope was being family meant as much to Silver Spur as it did to Stormy.

Sighing, Wesson looked across the desert, stretching vastly into the horizon. What a peculiar day. Perhaps a night out camping under the stars would clear his mind...

( Sure, sounds good. )
