Daydreaming Pony

Pixiedust smiled to herself as she finished her story in peace under a tall oak tree. It was a nice day to be outside and she hadn't really gotten a new book in ages. Always rereading or creating but never really getting a fresh idea. This once had been rather interesting. Its world so far away from her own that explaining it would only confuse a pony. Resting her head on her front hooves, Pixie sighed as she began daydreaming.

"Some day Pixie, that's going to be you. One of your stories is going to get published. It has to...right?" The Pegasus smiled as she thought of signing autographs and her friends reading her stories. Not too many autographs she hoped. Oh what if she got surrounded by ponies with no escape. She'd be signing so many autographs she wouldn't be able to chew for weeks. Oh no.

Pixie took a deep breathe and tried to relax before staring back down at her storybook. The thought of people reading her stuff was still nice. Pixie nestled down against her hooves before watching the ponies around her wander. So many ponies out today.

~~~OC: Thunder Gust~~~

Thunder Gust wandered over to Ponyville Park one day, signature shades on and feeling quite good. He was completely free of any work that day, and had decided early on that, instead of going to the tavern and drinking enough alcohol to take away his thirst for the next week or combining stupid ideas with magic and flight as he did all too often, he would instead just go for a walk. A nice, simple, relaxing walk. And, as planned, he had done so and eventually ended up in the park in which he was in now, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells that it had to offer while thinking over whatever thought or question happened to pop into his mind.

About half-way through his walk in the park, Thunder Gust decided to take a small break from the wandering he was currently doing, and so walked over to a tall oak tree that happened to be nearby. He layed down belly-up on the soft grass near the tree, propping his head and back up on the tree's large-ish trunk. And then he simply lay there on the ground at the base of the tall oak, looking up at the clouds and continuing to mull random thoughts over in his head.

"Some day Pixie, that's going to be you. One of your stories is going to get published. It has to...right?"

Thunder Gust turned his head slightly towards the voice that he had heard. Who was that? He shifted himself up slightly and then leaned out from the tree trunk to see who was on the other side of it, as that was where he thought he had heard the voice originate from.

As he looked, he discovered a lime green pegasus mare also sitting at the base of the tree, with a book in her lap. It looked like she was thinking about something, kind of like he had been, though Gust couldn't tell what that something could have been. He scooted his body around the tree to get slightly closer to the mare and spoke.

"Hey. Watcha doin'?"

Sunny Days, who just moved in right across the park, decided to go on a little walk. She had her green and yellow mane up in a bun and had just spent the whole day writing an article for the newspaper. She still hadn't met anypony and yearned for her mother and father back in Manehattan.
She scanned the park for anypony interesting. To her dismay she couldn't find anypony that looked the least bit interesting to interview for her article.
Then she spotted two ponies under an oak tree. "What is there story?" she thought in her head.
Her curiosity said to go over and talk to them, but her common sense was telling her to leave them to their business.
She went with her curiosity and started heading toward the tree.

Ah' umm sorry to butt in. But if this Rp is still running solid, would you mind if a noob to the sit like me per say, joined in?


It would be my first story so I'd understand if you feel that I should sit it out.

However, for future reference, you may want to check the date of the latest post in topics before participating in them. For example, in this particular thread, I had posted around two months ago, at which point the creator, Blueberry, became inactive and didn't post again. Next time, you may want to check if a thread is running first before jumping in.

@Glitch: And a big hello to you too, Glitch. I would love to have you join us in a roleplay thread, though, as I stated before, you will want to check the recency of a thread first before joining it. For example, this thread has been inactive for two months now, and so it would not be a good choice for joining. Also, before you move on to the rest of the site to begin roleplaying, you will first need to read the site rules and make a character sheet here by following the character creation template. As soon as you do all that, you'll be all set to roleplay. ^^))

Also, I am very thankful for the reply. I assumed since Sunny Days began posting that this thread in particular had a little hope of reviving and becoming active.
