The 59th Annual Pony Games

Match yelped. Another close call! she spins to face the pony, narrowing her eyes, trying to find out if he carried any more weapons. She draws her dagger, prepared to fight.

Burn:

Burn stopped about 10 feey from the mare. Missed... he thought. Noticing her drawing a dagger he realized he was out of wepons. He desided fighting would be a bad idea. Looks like this could be the end... Burn readied himself. He wasn't going down without a fight.

Crystal:

Crystal was still tailing Sunny. She noticed somthing falling from the sky. That's another sponsor package! she thought. "Sunny wait!" She yelled ahead. She trotted over to the package and pried it open. It contained a sword. "A wepon!" Crystal shivered picking up the heavy blade, "I hope I won't have to use it..." She muttered. She could barley swing it. It would be useful in an emergancy.

Match's horn started to glow brightly. She clutched the weapon between her teeth before charging at the stallion, snarling. She wasn't about to let herself lose so easily, and she swung.

She grins, her eyes widening. "Yes! Yes, my first hit, yes!" she lets out a laugh, running past the pegasus and spinning to face him.

Burn:

"AAAGGGHHH" Burn screamed when the Dagger dug into his arm. He tried to punch the mare but he couldn't lift his arm. He instead flew up and tried to kick her.

Burn:

Burs hit the ground. He didn't bother getting up. He was a fighter but he knew when he had lost. He closed his eyes and prepared for the mare to deal the final blow. This is it... I'm dead... He thought as he bit his lip and let lose a tear. There was no getting out of this.

Match placed a strong hoof on his stomach, glaring down at him. She kept the dagger in her magical grip but, for a moment, hesitated. She squeezed her eyes shut.
No hesitation if I want to get out, no stopping!
"Believe me, I wish there was another way..." she brings the blade down.

Match's dagger misses and hit the ground next to Burn's head. It sticks in the ground and is irretrievable, the ground holds it steady. A shard breaks off of the weapon and lands with a clink on the ground next to Burn's hoof.


(Jeez, these rolls aren't being fair....sorry! The dice does what the dice does)

She stares down at him, unblinking. "I missed..." she lets out a weak laugh, halfway between relief and nervousness. "Oh, Celestia, what am I doing?"

Sunny Days stops and notices that the rats are gone, an Crystal has a sword in her hand. She smiled, happy that Crystal has something to protect herself with.

((Last post I can make for a bit, seeing that I shall be quite busy. Sorry!))

Cloud steeled herself for a bit of pain as she dragged a knife across the soft flesh on the inside of her front left leg, wincing as the blood dripped to the dark dirt under her feet. When she was satisfied with the puddle under her hooves, she used the knife to cut a square of fabric from the inside of her knapsack and wrapped the bandage around the wound.

With care not to lose any of the liquid she had spilled, Cloud mixed the blood with the dirt, creating a thick puddle of reddish sludge. She pulled a few feathers from her wing and used them as a paintbrush, scooping up mud and smearing it on the side of the tarp.

"That was a spur-of-the-moment decision," she told Golden sheepishly. "Maybe not the best for my health, but the best for our survival."

Calla nodded at Bithia, a sadistic gleam in her metallic irises.

"Killing is good. I mean, how else are we getting out? It might be good to inform Torna she's got allies, too. At least, for the time being. Why would she run off like that, after all the time she spent training with us?"

She shook her head, wondering if the Pegasus had just panicked and run, or she really just didn't want an alliance.

The hovercraft appeared, pulling Amina's body into the sky. Calla watched before scrambling out of the Cornucopia so the cannon shot wouldn't hurt her sensitive ears. As it went off, the blue Unicorn wondered if anypony but Bithia would know it was she who had killed her old friend so she could get home to her family.

Rose grumbled where she sat, using a rock to even out the scratches on her skin. Getting mud and twigs caught inside of her skin was never convenient, and, though it hurt just the tiniest bit, it was worth it to survive in these games.

She wondered if anypony would ally with her. Then she had a distant memory of an old dream, much like what she was experiencing now, and remembered the time when she was just Rosie, a happy-go-lucky dye maker, allied with a grumpy archer from her own district.

She winced and pawed at the ground as she realized she had turned into the sullen, introverted Recurve as he had become happier with his life. It was almost a personality switch.

Growling, she muttered obscenities as she really did wish somepony would show that she hadn't become a total monster. Allies, sponsers, even an animal companion would be better than the solitude she had immersed herself in for far too long.

The newest Gamekeeper sat at her post. Amina looked up at Iris, bitter that she had been demoted to just a regular old Keeper when she had orchestrated one of the best Pony Games anypony had ever seen only two years ago.

"Anything you'd have me do?" she asked, a sarcastic smile on her face. "You had your fun. Mess with somepony's sanity. It seems to do ze trick. But you know, don't mind me, I'm just a little insignificant Gamekeeper wiz worzless ideas."

"Racist fillies," she muttered under her breath as the other Gamekeepers ignored her. Maybe Iris would remember their old friendship before taking her for granted.

Iris looked down at the gamekeeper who had spoken out of turn, "yes, I do remember those games Amina. You did a fabulous job, if I dare say. But these are my games now, and I have my own ideas. Although I am grateful for you suggestions, I'm the head gamekeeper. The game go how I want them to. And I might just use the idea of insanity."

Iris grinned devilishly, for an idea came to her. An idea for the end, if the intended pony made it that far. 

The sun slowly began to set, after a long day of sunlight, the moon finally rose. The sun's heat began to fade and a coolness settled in.

Burn:

Burn opened his eyes after a moment. He heard the mare laughing and noticed the weappon next to his head. "I'm not dead?" Burn questioned. He had no idea why or how but she had missed. His arm was still heavily bleeding and in pain. He wasn't blowing this second chance. Burn folded his wings an rolled onto his hooves. They both seemed out of weappons. This battle would take forever if it continued.

Burn raised the one front hoof he could in preparation. He swung at the mare again. He had to at least try.

She stumbles back. "Nng, this is crazy...!" the mare's eyes narrow. Her horn glows brightly, in hopes of temporarily blinding the stallion, before trying to ram into him.

Sprout:

The colt climbed up the highest tree he could find, clinging onto the branches. He let out a sigh, staring up into the sky.
