Date #2 for Cherry and Iris!

Cherry blushes and wraps her hooves around Iris, holding her in a relaxed cuddle. She leaned up towards her ear and whispers.

"You."

She laughs and leans back, still cuddling Iris.

"So Iris, you got any friends or family here?"

Iris chuckled, kissing Cherry's cheek. 

"Not here no. My family is either...gone or up in Cloudsdale. This I actually consider family aren't blood related." Iris replied, playing with a string of Cherry's mane. "What about you love?" 

Iris was enjoying using her new nickname for Cherry.

Cherry giggles and blushes, letting Iris play with her mane.

"My family lives far away in Fillydelphia, and I don't know anyone here yet except for you and a hoof full of others. You should introduce me to your friends sometime."

"Oh I'm sure they'd love you!" Iris replied excitedly, grinning like there was no tomorrow. She smirked and gave Cherry a light peck on the lips. The assistant returned, carrying towels. Iris pouted, quickly letting go of Cherry's mane. 

She stepped out of the tub, offering Cherry her hoof.

Cherry grinned at the small peck and frowned slightly at the assistant. She took Iris's hoof and climbed out, swishing her wet tail lightly to gently smack Iris's flank.

"What a nice gentlemare, with such great manners."

She giggles, grabbing a towel and start to dry off her mane.

Iris jumped a bit, rubbing her flank and leering slyly at Cherry. "You little..." she laughed, taking a towel and doing the same. She finished and gave the towel to the assistant. Iris shook her coat out to get any missed water. 

"Well, there was one more thing planned..." she trailed off, looking at Cherry adoringly, "but we could skip it and....go somewhere else."

Cherry jumps a bit and squeaks before rubbing her flank. She finishes drying off and looks over at Iris. 

"Umm.. like where?"

"Dunno, wherever you like." she said with a wink.

Cherry taps her hoof against her chin then her eyes light up. 

"Lets get ice cream!" 

She lightly hops up in down eagerly with a huge grin.

"Okay!" Iris laughed, linking hooves with Cherry and escorting her out. She let go and ran quickly, "Race ya!" 

She raced ahead, towards the ice cream shoppe.

Cherry grinned and ran after her, trying to catch up. 

"Not fair! Unicorns aren't naturally fast! 

She keep on going, trying to beat Iris.

Iris laughed, slowing down a bit. She stopped at the shop's door. Glancing behind her, she waited for Cherry to come. 

She smirked, leaning against the shop's wall.

Cherry trotted up and took a second to get her breath, and frowned, giving Iris a poke.

"Could've given me a head start."

"Meh, head starts are for cheap-stakes." Iris scoffed, opening the door. "You first, milady." she grinned, bowing as she held the door open for Cherry.

Cherry rolls her eyes and walks in with her head up, sticking her tongue out at Iris before anyone else could see.

"Hmph. Iris you could get a job at that, opening doors."

"As if." Iris laughed, following Cherry inside. "So, what would ya like?" she asked with a grin, looking up at the flavors. "Hm, I think I'll have a scoop of lemon sherbert in a cone, and a scoop chocolate chip on top."

Dark cherry grins and responds without hesitation.

"Cherry scoop!"

Some Things for her would never change. That includes her favorite flavors of just about anything being cherry.

"Alrighty then." Iris beamed, paying for the two ice creams, "Shall we?" she said gentlemare-ly while showcasing the shop's array of tables and chairs. She pulled out a chair for Cherry, and took her own seat across from her.

"This is one high-class ice cream shop." Iris grinned as the waitress came with their orders. Iris licked her lips greedily, staring at the large, double scoop cone.

Cherry smiled and took her seat, politely thanking Iris and waits for her ice cream.

"High-class Ice cream? I don't think we dressed for the occasion."

Cherry grins and winks, grabbing her ice cream with magic and giving it a few licks.

"Wow." Iris said sarcastically, "That was a fantastic joke." she laughed, leaning back in her chair. She licked her ice cream, savoring the taste.

"This is certainly high-quality ice cream, if I do say so myself." she grinned, chuckling.

Cherry rolls her eyes and gives a nice long lick at her ice cream then winks at Iris.

"Mmmhmm It sure is."

She gives another lick and flinches, frowning.

"Ah! Brainfreeze!"

"Oh you poor baby." Iris chuckled patting Cherry on the back, "Stick your tongue to the roof of you mouth. That'll get rid of the brain freeze."

Iris smirked, such knowledge only comes from experience, you know. She took a bite out of her scoops, finishing off the chocolate chip.

Cherry did as Iris suggested and set there for a bit forwning. She tried to speak with her tongue still on her roof.

"Iz dunt thif it wuking.."

"Really? It should work. It's a common cure for brainfreeze." she tilted her head, "It works for me."

Taking a bite out of her ice cream, she savored the flavor in her mouth. "Mm, I can't remember the last time I had ice cream."

Cherry relaxes as it dims down and she sighs eating more at a slower pace.

"The last time I did, I was sick on my couch with a high fever. I prefer this better."

She laughs and smiles at the memory.
